WILLIAM REGAL TO REVEAL DETAILS ABOUT UPCOMING TAKEOVER SPECIAL, CHAMPIONS ROLL CALL
The long anticipated date of the next NXT Takeover Live Special has been set – 29th of April – and the way things have been going for the Full Sail roster lately, it’s sure to be an absolute firecracker. NXT General Manager William Regal has said this Wednesday on NXT he will reveal the details about the two-hour Live Special and has hinted at it being the most dangerous Takeover yet. In addition to this, we will have a Champions Roll Call to start the show; NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks, NXT Tag Team Champions Blake & Murphy and of course, NXT Champion Kevin Owens will all be present in-ring to find out their respective challengers for the upcoming event. Will William Regal’s experience and cunning see him be able to control so many egos at the one time?


BARON CORBIN DEMANDS COMPETITION
Baron Corbin has destroyed nearly all competition thus far in NXT and had demanded a step up in competition. Well ask and boy shall you receive! This Wednesday Baron Corbin goes one on one with none other than “The Man Beast” Rhyno! Not only that but Regal has hinted that a win for either man in this match would go a long way towards deciding the next Number One Contender for the NXT Championship! With a possible post-Takeover championship match on the line the stakes are high and you can be sure this bout will be a hard-hitting, blood-curdling affair!


BREEZE/ITAMI RAGES ON
Despite emerging victorious in a fantastic two out of three falls match on the past edition of NXT, Tyler Breeze looks to put the exclamation point on his feud with Hideo Itami as the duo will once again be on opposite sides of the ring – this time in tag team action. Hideo Itami has already confirmed that close friend Finn Balor will be his partner but the devious Tyler Breeze has left us all guessing the identity of his partner and has remained unusually quiet in the build up to the tag team match that will be the main event of the evening on this edition of NXT.


BECKY LYNCH VERSUS ALEXA BLISS
Becky Lynch entered NXT as a rock loving, Irish-jigging, all around fun girl but in recent weeks she has shown a vicious and ruthless side emerge to her. Exit the bubby Irish girl, enter the submission expert. Her opponent Alexa Bliss came close to dethroning Sasha Banks recently and a win her would keep her right on track for another match with Banks, an opponent that she currently sits 1-1 with in the victory stakes. What’s worth bearing in mind is that by the time the bell rings for this match, a challenger for Sasha Bank’s NXT Women’s Championship will already have been announced; this could have huge implications on both competitor’s performance.
