I was more speaking if he went he be a sellout, not really being in the commercial. That's whatever. I just would find it laughable after the comment to The Miz, if he turned around and did the same thing. Unless he's going to win the Rumble, he doesn't necessarily have to go to make Mania. Just do like I seen a few people suggested, give him the title before the Rumble, he can skip it as he has his ticket by being the champion.

I get that. He said some things pretty strongly, but I think people overly scrutinize Punk. He’s already skipped a few trips over and it’s a meme when Punk gets hurt in story before WWE goes. I think it’s a bit unfair to then jump on him when he inevitably goes. Maybe he can avoid going permanently, but I have a hard time believing management will let him avoid the Royal Rumble if he’s in a prominent Mania spot. I guess we’ll see.

That’s certainly a possibility, but all I’m saying is management might not necessarily want to do that forever, especially with them purposely putting an event as big as the royal rumble there they might get a little insistent that someone that’s going to get a prominent role during Mania season should be on the biggest show in the road to wrestlemania.

Sami always wanted to go because he's Muslim and Mecca is in Saudi Arabia. If he didn't want to go, no one would have been upset that couldn't. One of the 5 core pillars of Islam is to go on a pilgrimage to Mecca. So Sami being allowed to go solves every issue Sami and KO had with the government, they won the protest.

The people that had problems with the journalist getting killed and then changed their minds are the hypocrites bc nothing has changed there, they'll still do that again.

I don’t think he ever goes to any of these random non-canon events but all I’m saying is if he does go to the Royal rumble I’m not personally gonna hold that against him considering it’s a big four show.

I guess my main point originally was just that people jumped at Punk, supposedly going based on a trailer with no real credible evidence that he was even gonna go because people are just waiting for him to eventually go so they can criticize him for it. I never would’ve thought he was gonna go but WWE now seemingly wanting to put the Royal rumble there they really want to put tentpole must see shows to take place there so it’s becoming increasingly harder for top talent to just not be at them, but I hope I’m wrong and I hope punk never goes and don’t get me wrong I’m not even necessarily saying he will, I’m just saying that if he does go, I get it.
