Damn New Day at number 1. God bless em. I don’t necessarily disagree though. But aren’t they more of a stable :lol

My thoughts on the top 20.

20. The Undisputed Era

- I'm Not exactly sure if they should be ahead of some teams like DX or The Shield, or even my personal favorite of Owen/Bulldog, but then again, I haven't watched modern WWE consistently, so I'm probably no judge of character.

19. Rocky Johnson and Tony Atlas (The Soul Patrol)

- This one also slightly confuses me. They were a popular team no doubt, but ahead of DX or The Shield? I dunno.

18. Prof. Toru Tanaka and Mr. Fuji

- This is a big ugly gorilla thumbs up from me. I love Tanaka & Fuji as a team. One of the best pure heel teams in WWE history, and they also are 3x tag team champions together, which back in the '70s was a big deal.

17. The Steiner Brothers

- This one is both the most confusing and most fitting area for the Steiners since they absolutely got the short end of the stick on their WWE run. Despite being 1x WWE Tag Champs, the Steiners were arguably the most over tag team in 1993.

16. The Rock N' Sock Connection

- Honestly expected them to be higher.

15. The Wild Samoans

- 15 seems like a good spot for the Samoans, tbh. 3x tag team champions and one of the best heel teams of their era.

14. The Rockers

- The Rockers should be lower, no way were they more popular or better than Rock & Sock, DX, or The Shield.

13. The Mega Powers

- The Mega Powers can be here.

12. The Valiant Brothers

- The Valiant Brothers might be a bit too high when compared to The Wild Samoans and Tanaka & Fuji. They were only 2x tag champs between the three of them but held it for over a year once.

11. Demolition

- Demolition should probably be higher tbh since they have the single longest reign of any tag team (outside of The New Day). For the late 1980s, they were extremely popular, either heel or face.

10. The British Bulldogs

- 10 is a perfect spot for the Bulldogs tbh. They were an excellent face team and they were consistently the best when paired with guys like The Hart Foundation. They had 1 tag reign but held it through most of 1986.

9. The Brothers of Destruction

- No complaints here, to be honest.

8. The New Age Outlaws

- I've always considered the New Age Outlaws to be somewhat overrated, but their resume more than speaks for itself. 6x tag champs and perennially one of the more popular teams of the late-90s.

7. The Usos

- The Usos are one of the best tag teams of the 2010s. 6x tag champs, totaling upwards of 637 days combined. Rather impressive all things considered.

6. The Legion of Doom

- LoD is a weird one to me, they're extremely popular and very successful, but they were far more successful outside of WWE than they were in the company. It's very much a similar situation with the Steiner Brothers, in which their success wasn't dependent on WWE; they were well established before coming in. I feel like this in a way taints their rankings inside the WWE.

5. The Dudley Boyz

- The Dudley Boyz were extremely successful; as 9x tag champs from 2000 to 2004, they were in the perennial championship scene between Edge & Christian and The Hardy Boyz. They were also extremely successful outside of WWE's confines, but since they were most successful in the WWE, I don't see it as tainting their ranking like Legion of Doom or the Steiners.

4. Edge & Christian

- This is a more debatable point, but it could be argued that the Dudley Boyz should be ahead of Edge & Christian. E&C have one less championship reign than the Dudleyz and are 75 days shorter than them. Nonetheless, they were a great tag team and popular for their time. This the top 5 I have very few complaints about thus far.

3. Hart Foundation

- The Hart Foundation was arguably the best tag team of the late-'80s and early-'90s. Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart combined for two championship reigns, with a total of 483 days, an impeccable length of time. They put on classic after classic with all sorts of opponents too, including The British Bulldogs, Demolition, and The Nasty Boys.

2. The Hardy Boyz

- The Hardy Boyz are extremely popular in WWE history, but I don't really see them as a #2 tag team of all time. If anything, they should be behind E&C and The Dudley Boyz as far as rankings go. As 7-time tag champs, they only accumulated 171 days with them; that's far short of the mark of E&C and the Dudleys. Nonetheless, they have this sort of mystique to them since Jeff Hardy (while in my opinion one of the most overrated wrestlers ever) is somehow super popular, and Matt Hardy is a decent technical wrestler, it just works. They're a top-five team, no doubt, but I'd push them back to the #5 spot.

1. The New Day

- I don't actually think it can be disputed that the New Day, at least for my money, is the most decorated and successful tag team in WWE history. 11 tag team reigns (most in WWE history), the longest single reign in WWE history, and most combined days in WWE history (1,000 days) to their name. They are truly a force to be reckoned with. All this within 7 years; this means between 2014 (when they formed) until approximately today, they account for 39% of the days of all tag reigns during that time. Additionally, if one takes into account the time between their first reign until now, that's actually 46%. The next closest team in that timespan is The Usos, with a paltry 379 days (or 17%).

Also do the mega powers deserve to be number 13? They never even won the tag titles and were only together for like a year. I get that they were the two most over stars at the time but that was because of their singles careers.

While, not a bad list there are a lot of questionable positions on there. My one thing is though was this based on popularity/how over they were/are, championships won, wrestling ability, or a combination of all.

I'll be honest and say I think the Usos should have been ranked a little higher

I’m sure it’s a combination of championships, popularity, and skill.

As a tag team lover I find this list decent but the Hardyz are way to high and I hate have super teams on it
