The Sunday Times understands the Cook Government is in negotiations with the now-merged UFC and World Wrestling Entertainment to bring the WWE extravaganza back to Perth in 2025. The Government is remaining tight-lipped about the event, but it is understood wrestling could be back in Perth in the second half of next year. The wrestling world homed in on Perth in February when World Wrestling Entertainment descended on Optus Stadium in an exclusive globally televised Premium Live Event. Australian wrestling superstar Rhea Ripley was among athletes who participated in the wrestling extravaganza, which was broadcast live to WWE’s massive audience, which included 180 countries in more than 25 languages, available in more than one billion homes."
