WWE Looking For A New Announcer

WWE put out a job posting for an On-Air Announcer, who they say will be the "Face of WWE's Live Event promotions." The job will be based in Stamford from Monday to Wednesday and require travelling approximately once per month. Anyone interested will have to apply by this Wednesday, and submit a video of them reading two 30-second scripted promos that they included in the job posting.

Also, they don't have the job posting for the Head of the WWE Network anymore, so either they found someone or have just given up for now.

Why does WWE feel the need to recruit more talent when they could just use Tony Chimmel, the GOAT?

It wouldn't take much. Just feed him some jobbers, build him up and make him a monster announcer. He's been stuck in announcer mid-card limbo for so long.

Looks like this is advertising for the position left vacant by Jack Korpela not renewing his contract. Seems like a decent gig if you can get it plus it may eventually lead to a spot behind the Smackdown or RAW announce table.
