Maybe it means they'll let Kairi go too but that's a pretty big leap in assumption.

From a business POV if the global expansion is off, and this was just booking house shows which might be off for a year or more...I kind of get it here.

Also, this was started due to the idea of a NXT Japan happening and all. Also, Kairi is a "ambassador" for WWE in Japan, so.

It was basically going to be an expansion like NXT UK but based in Japan.

Even if she was "free" she couldn't really wrestle, but it would mean she could commentate for Stardom and such, and even be a trainer so guess that would be the looking outcome.

is her concussion legit career ending? Damn, i thought they had offered her an actual match on stardom but i guess it was commentary?

First time I heard Kairi is officially done when it comes to Wrestling in the Ring but I always thought she needed a break from being in the Ring she's been hitting it hard for so long. Granted she's Married now and if she doesn't want to wrestle again either way that is on her. It would hurt me for sure she's the reason why I watched Stardom and laid the groundwork for me to expand my horizons when it came to Women's Wrestling for me. I thought the day Bushiroad got control of Stardom it was doneso for WWE. They were trying to get a few Puro Companies in Japan and Stardom was one of them and Rossy wanted to know their plan and he said fuck off and sold to Bushiroad. What the plan I imagine rip apart the Roster for NXT Japan which would of had alot of the younger talent needing to find jobs and taking the Library for the Network. I'm pretty sure WWE had planned to do the same thing with another Puro Company was it Noah I think and they didn't like what WWE was selling.
