The actions from the Wyatt Family planted the seeds for a battle that will likely take place at this year’s Survivor Series event and although it seems the build is exclusively for some sort of traditional tag-team elimination match showdown between Undertaker and soon-to-be-revealed partners verses Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Luke Harper and Erik Rowan, the build may actually be for something bigger at WrestleMania 32.
The rumor mill has already started speculation that the Undertaker and Kane could reunite their ‘Brothers of Destruction’ tag team to square off with the Wyatt family but that would leave 2 empty spots for Taker & Kane. After Kane’s strong match against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and his disassociation from ‘The Authority’ official, it seems the stars have aligned for Kane to join forces with the Undertaker once again.
With Survivor Series considered to be one of WWE’s four annual “mega events” (WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble) and with WWE pushing the growth of the WWE Network for a big financial fourth quarter, it’s likely that the aforementioned two empty slots will be filled by some big names.
One name that is likely to be added is Sting. If healthy, adding Sting to the mix would give fans a small taste of what they have been clamoring for over the past 10-15 years; Undertaker and Sting competing in the same ring at the same time.
