The fine is probably not needed, at least not at that insane total as it was when he was not under their employ. If it was small or more of a slap on the wrist, maybe it wouldn't seem as extreme. If he had said that stuff while in WWE on social media or in the locker room to other employees, then yes, a fine would be more than justified.

However, the sensitivity training is something that is needed as a lot of the stuff he said really shouldn't fly period... Like it was disgusting. The training in a way should be him trying to take action to prove that stuff is behind him and making sure it isn't repeated. I'm sure a lot of WWE's roster members especially those who are African-American or of a minority group were made very uncomfortable with what he has said in the past. Even if he says he has changed, bad feelings from it could lead to people in a match/segment with him feel scared for their safety or Lars himself scared of retaliation. This is an industry where you are meant to keep each other safe in your performances and have trust with your opponents while trying to put on an entertaining show. Going through the training can help ease any worries the other roster members may have over whether or not he actually has changed.

Punishment is definitely fair.. Something needed to happen. They can't let this shit slide without doing anything. $100.000 sends a message to the locker room.

LOL what message? You really think that this is a message to the lockeroom? They are fucking grown adults. The only way this stuff should happen is when they are young and dumb. Nobody is going to start being a troll and make homophobic or racist comments online. The hefty fine is a message but not to the lockeroom. Very patronising if it is.

It won’t satisfy the blood lust of SJW’s who think he should never be employed again.

Putting myself in the shoes of someone who may own a company for any job, if I would be looking at someone to hire, and I see social media posts linked to them saying some of the things he has said/similar things, I would be hesitant to hire them too. Considering there is the chance they would interact with employees or customers of colour and there would be a risk of them acting out and having a negative outlook on the company. If it happened a long time ago though, like him, then there has to be evidence that it won't be an issue. It shouldn't be the point where he should "never be employed again," but it's not an insane idea or being an SJW for being an employer uncomfortable with hiring someone who said that stuff before.

Right now, that's where he is. He needs to prove with action that he isn't the same person as he was before. The fine, debatable but the sensitivity training which is also mentioned is probably the way he needs to prove that he isn't going to repeat it.

Funny if they actually make it a story line
in a desperate attempt to increase ratings.

Vince Russo Voice:

"Bro, bro. I got a big idea. You know how Lars is being called a racist? Well let's do this. Let's let Lars on the mic and bash everyone for being black and Finn Balor fans for being gay, bro. Then the fans will think he is going in business for himself and we will cut the mic. Bro, bro, we gotta let the marks think it is a shoot. Then we will have Lars go to "sensitivity training" and come back as The Social Justice Freak, Lars Sullivan with Palmer Cannon as his manager, bro. It's gonna be huuuuuuge!"

First off...I'm surprised Russo isn't working the WWE in
secret right now considering how bad the ratings are.

And Secondly...you didn't say bro enough.

Put him in a dress with lipstick and blush.
Give him that type of gimmick.
He will get it eventually.
And have him win!
