Michael Brendli, 25, better known to wrestling fans as Mikey of the Spirit Squad, was arrested on DUI charges late last night in Tampa, Florida. He is currently a member of WWE developmental Florida Championship Wrestling's roster.

The former WWE World Tag Team Champion was pulled over and then arrested on Adamo Drive East and Falkenburg Road South at 11:12 PM last night. Brendli was listed as having a blood alcohol level of 0.94. A second test was conducted and it had him at a level of 0.91. He was released from jail a little more than an hour ago at 2:17 p.m. this afternoon after posting $500 bond.

According to the police report of his arrest, Brendli refused to list his employer.

Brendli's DUI arrest marks the third such incident of a WWE-contracted performer in the Tampa area this year. Both Ted DiBiase, Jr. and Santino Marella were also recently charged with DUI. In DiBiase's case, it was following an accident where his car struck another vehicle.
Apparently drink driving is a job requirement when get hired by WWE these days >_>

I hate when these former wrestlers do some crime, and everything gets pinned to WWE as if it was their fault "DUI arrest marks the third such incident of a WWE-contracted performer"

Yes it's a little ridiculous for WWE to somehow get blamed for drunk driving...

That's because Vince tells them to go out, get bombed and then proceed to get arrested for driving under the influence >_>

You didn't know? Vince has mind-control on his former wrestlers.

I guess it was stupid for him to do that but you really can't blame the WWE for it. Honestly though, I could care less. The guy probably will never get called up the main roster anyway

Funny how everyone is saying not to blame WWE when nobody actually blamed WWE. They should at least fire the DUI guys because that is something that puts everyone in danger not just yourself. Plus gives you a bad image. Now WWE is the Steroids,Limo-Explosion,Midget-beating,DUI wrestling company.
