Their have been rumors that WWE no longer think regular Balor is any good but The Demon still is...

WWE Reportedly Doesn't See Finn Balor As Being Marketable...But "The Demon" Is

In the future could WWE make the Demon Full-time at Weekly and PPV shows?

Truly I love The Demon, but this would be an extremely drastic change if he was Full-time.

But he's basically like a leather jacket wearing underwear model now.

But If he was Full-time I know there are some who won't approve

What do you think...

Should Finn Balor replace his normal side gimmick with a different one?
Or
Should Finn be The Demon King Full-time at every show?

I personally prefer normal Finn over the demon one. Finn the demon is okay ocassionaly, on pay-per-view’s and as an ‘alter ego’, but full time would be a disaster. Nonetheless, if it’s the only way for Finn to succeed in WWE then bring it on. Guy is an amazing fucking wrestler so the most important thing is to keep him in the main-event picture, gimmicks are secondary in this case.

The WWE wanted to "Pull the Trigger" on a massive Demon push
after SummerSlam 2016 but...well...injuries are an absolute bitch.

I still to this day believe the Universal title was deliberately designed
to go with the Demon...hence why it was red...although it still looks
like a giant fruit roll up to me.

I guess if the WWE wants to build up some of their more "theatrical"
characters then good for them.

I remember 'back in day" being the biggest mark for Taker, Kane,
Mankind & Gangrel...and the idea of WWE "recreating" that dynamic
with the Fiend, the Demon & Aleister Black does appeal to me.

Although the stories being told would have to be good for me to
actually get invested & watch the product again.

Yes to me if The Demon was Full time then they will have to put Main Event caliber effort in all of his storylines.

They can't just throw him out like a sideshow attraction.

That character needs special attention

Keep him in character all the time. His "normal" alter ego is just some boring, mild mannered dude with abs. U look at guys with face paint gimmicks similar like Goldust, Boogeyman, Ultimate Warrior, etc and they always wore their shit and acted in character. Obviously The Demon character is waaaaay more over than just regular Finn Balor so why dilute The Demon persona?

I really have no issue if they do the Demon full time, but if they do, they really should explain why it is happening. Perhaps feuding with the Fiend will do that? But since the Demon has been only showing up less than a handful of times a year, they should explain why it is that he becomes a permanent character. For example, there have been times where the Hulk has taken over full time over Bruce Banner and it was always explained why.

Then why never use the Demon?

I personally don't like the idea of full time Demon because I always felt horrible for Golddust spending FOREVER to get that paint on to stand behind Stardust cutting a promo. Don't wanna see him get painted up for 2 hours for 8 minutes on Raw and watch nobody care about the paint.

Problem is they booked themselves in a corner with it because of this. It feels like he just brings out the Demon at random ass times, because while the Demon can't lose and Balor loses all his matches against more important members of the roster, that's when he needs it the most in storyline.

I'm glad to hear that there are some other people on here who agree with and/or wouldn't mind the idea...

Personally I like the idea of The Demon being Full Time

but I just don't want them to make this huge change and make him just another misused mid card slot filler

Vince has a huge reputation of destroying images, talents, and ideas. This is too great of a Idea to destroy

Judging by that logic Stone Cold as well was just a regular boring guy in trunks, knee pads, boots and wristbands who drank beer and should have been a demon, a zombie or something else instead.
The normal attire suits Balor a lot better, he just looks more natural and overall better. His presence is best just the way it is now, a normal guy who occassionaly gets possessed by his demon alter ego. No corrections needed.

I wish I heard more about this rumor so I could have thrown this out earlier...

There is also rumors of him turning Heel and joining The O.C.

To be honest I don't know if that will add the flavor that he needs

but depending on how it's booked it will most likely make him better than he is now

I understand why their is some who say Balor can stay as he is with summoning The Demon instead a Full Time Demon

but it's just that WWE feels that he doesn't have a Main Eventer feel as his normal and current self

but they feel that The Demon Full Time or maybe a Heel O.C. Balor is Marketable as a Main Eventer.
