Well...Okay...I will share my thoughts...

Of the 8 matches on the card...7 of them have been seen before.

The only "new" match is Corbin vs. Nakamura...and personally
that match is a "No Win" scenario for either men.

Either Nakamura is defeated and gets taken down a peg...or
Corbin is defeated...which doesn't look good as he is most
likely going to be a future top title holder on SmackDown...
or even possibly RAW.

It doesn't look good for Nakamura as we know Vince likes
"Big Sweaty Men" and most likely calls Nakamura "Nintendo"
in board meetings.

Tye Dillinger vs. Aiden English really serves no purpose and
we have seen it before on Pay Per View. I'm a big Tye Dillinger
fan...but couldn't we see him wrestle someone else? Say Erick
Rowan or even Luke Harper?

I like Jinder as the World Champion...but the feud with Orton
has gone on for too long...and it really made no sense for
Jinder to pick a match where the Singh brothers can't back
him up.

The New Day & Usos are all great workers and their match
at MITB was awesome...but the ending of that match kind
of spoiled this entire feud for me.

Plus the WWE Universe has seen this match many times
before the New Day even ended up on SmackDown.

Cena vs. Rusev...I mean...I want Rusev to win...but if the
past records are to be believed...then Cena is going over
Rusev again.

I mean these 2 had a Wrestlemania match for the US title...
so this is a step down...and frankly a waste of time.

I'm sure Styles vs. Owens will be top class. Both are
fantastic workers...but...the fact Styles claimed the belt
at a house show is slightly annoying to me.

I'd be more invested if Owens was still champion and
Styles was trying to claim the belt.

And Sami Zayn vs. Mike Kanellis...well...they just had
this match a few days ago...and I wasn't really impressed.

The only way this match could be interesting for me is
if one of the other ladies on the roster (most likely Becky)
comes out and helps Sami get a win back.

No...I don't "ship" Becky/Sami (We all know Becky is
married to Charlotte) its just the only way I would care.

And finally...the women's match...

They just keep throwing the women in a ring together
ad shout "DO STUFF!!!" and while I like all the ladies
of the WWE...its just feels like an excuse for lazy writing.

The fact Naomi isn't defending the belt or Carmella doesn't
have a match is fucking pathetic...and there was simple
way to fix that.

Have Naomi defend the belt against anyone but Lana at
Battleground and add Carmella to the 5 way Elimination
match.

That way Naomi and Carmella are on the card and you
still get a 5 way #1 contender match for Summerslam.

I'm also concerned that the booking team will have Lana
pin either Charlotte or Becky (possibly with a roll up)...
which will piss me off to no end.

I also wouldn't put it past the SmackDown creative team
to have the 5 way elimination match break down into chaos
and Shane McMahon books a 6 Pack Challenge match at
Summerslam...and no matter who wins that gets to have
Carmella cash in on them.

Either way...I hope Charlotte or Becky wins the Battleground
match...and after being pinned and submitted in the last
two weeks...not to mention she hasn't won on pay per view
since the Royal Rumble...most signs point to Charlotte.

Also another rumor going round is Becky may have a match
against Cris Cyborg at Summerslam...which may be leading
to the fantasy match up of Charlotte vs. Ronda Rousey at
Wrestlemania 34.

Plus...there is a strong rumor that no titles will be changing
hands at Battleground because they will be saving those for
Summerslam.

So...yeah...apart from the women's match...why should I care?
