WWE stars spoke to the media following Bash in Berlin.

Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair, and Gunther took questions following Saturday’s premium live event in Germany. Rhodes said Triple H, who usually ends the press conferences, had left early as he was about to send his daughter off to college.

Here are the highlights:

Cody Rhodes:
  • After noting Triple H’s absence, Rhodes ran down Bash in Berlin’s business, announcing that it was the highest-grossing event in WWE’s arena history It is the third time it has happened this year, first at Backlash in Paris then at Clash at the Castle in Glasgow.
  • Rhodes also confirmed January 6 as Raw’s premiere date on Netflix.
  • Praised Abyss, Shawn Daivari, and Byron Saxton for their work during the live event tour.
  • Regarding a possible match with Randy Orton, Rhodes said a lot would have to happen for that to happen. If it happens, that is a lot of drama and a lot of cinema, but there are currently no plans for it.
  • Rhodes was asked about the upcoming Vince McMahon series on Netflix and if he believed Janel Grant’s allegations. Rhodes’s response can be seen in this post. When asked again if he believed Grant, he ultimately said that he didn’t know enough information to answer.
Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair:
  • When asked about leaving AEW for WWE one year ago, Cargill said she was tired of answering questions on AEW, as she’s here in WWE now and is focused on what she’s doing next and that is to make a name for herself.
  • Bianca said she was here to help Cargill out noting that when she started, she leaned and relied on others in the locker room, so now she’s trying to do the same for Cargill.
Gunther:
  • He was asked a question about the European scene thriving, with the reporter specifically mentioning Zack Sabre Jr. winning the G1 and also Will Ospreay’s recent success. Gunther said that WWE has opened its doors recently for this kind of style to be welcomed. That influence came into the company, and people have enjoyed it a lot.
  • When asked about what he wanted his legacy to be, Gunther said it was to try to be the best wrestler he could be.
