- We noted before that Baron Corbin vs. Kalisto was nixed from the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view card due to timing issues. It turns out that Kalisto is injured and that's why the match was pulled. Kalisto wrestled on the August 2nd SmackDown, losing an Intercontinental Title #1 contenders match to Apollo Crews. Corbin was also in that match. No word yet on the injury but Kalisto had to be helped to the back after the match.

It is going to be a 2 hour PPV unless it's stated otherwise.

I feel they do have enough matches (NXT TakeOvers have usually had 5-6 matches), plus they'll all be at least 12 minutes long, so no need to worry, I guess.

On Talking Smack they added Usos vs Hype Bros in a Second Chance match for the spot vacated by the Alphas due to Gable's kayfabe injury. Booyah! Hell yeah. Yeah yeah yeah.

No the WWE Network has it scheduled as a three hour PPV. It wouldn't be too unusual though for it to be only five or six matches. Back during the earlier days of the original brand extension, brand exclusive pay per views often had only five matches.

The Usos will defeat The Hype Bros and advance to the finals where they'll also defeat Beauty & The Man-Beast and become the inaugural SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

When you have Meltzer etc. reporting it, you have to start believing the rumours are substantiated though. It's a shame, since it might have got Wyatt back into things properly.

So... Which match is going to pick up the slack and go longer? Please not AJ/Ambrose, it'll already have a ten minute finisher/near-fall fest at the end.
