WWE Announces Another Live Smackdown

SYFY PRESENTS WWE® SUPERSMACKDOWN LIVE ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 29 AT 8PM

NEW YORK – October 14, 2011 – Following the record setting performance of Syfy’s first ever SuperSmackDown Live special on August 30th, Syfy and WWE announced today the next WWE SuperSmackDown Live special will air Tuesday, November 29 at 8PM/ET.

The Tuesday night special will feature WWE’s biggest Superstars and Divas, including Randy Orton®, Sheamus™, World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry®, Big Show®, Christian®, Sin Cara™, Cody Rhodes™, Wade Barrett™, Daniel Bryan™, Natalya™ and Alicia Fox™.

The special will re-air in Smackdown’s regular time slot on Friday, December 2 from 8-10PM (ET/PT). The inaugural telecast of SuperSmackDown Live on Tuesday, August 30th pinned 3.3 million total viewers and was the most watched Smackdown ever on Syfy among Adults 18-49.

Good move by WWE and SyFy. The last show rated very well so it was a no-brainer to do it again. Plus ratings have been up for Smackdown the past month so I would love to see what number Smackdown can do live with the current format and champion.

Do you think someone will return in this live Supershow? This will be 9 days after Survivor Series.

Doubtful of a return but the Rock will probably be on it.

I agree that we could see The Rock on the show. Would be a good way to boost the rating having The Rock appear on Smackdown for the first time in quite some time.

Mick Foley as well.

Could see both on it.

Good call. Foley will probably show up on the three hour RAW that is dedicated to The Rock since it is in New York. Then they can have him on this Smackdown as well, wouldn't mind if Foley was used in a GM or manager role.

Foley will return in the UK. All schedules point to that scenario.

On Foley;

Mick Foley is booked for the final TV leading into Survivor Series as well as TVs the week after the PPV in November, according to multiple WWE sources.

This Live Smackdown is two weeks after the PPV so it doesn't look like he is confirmed but there is a good chance he could be on the show.
