Monday Night Raw
August 5th 2024
The New Judgment Day open the show with Finn and Dominik bragging about getting rid of the deadweight that was holding them down while also welcoming Liv Morgan and Carlito to the family. The crowd boos them madly, especially Dominik and Liv, but erupt in cheers as Rhea and Damian emerge from the crowd and go after the group. Damian is able to get rid of JD and Carlito as Finn retreats before his former friend can get his hands on him. Meanwhile, Rhea brawls with Liv and tries to put her through the announce table but Dominik saves her. Adam Pearce interrupts all this madness and announces that Damian is going to face JD McDonagh tonight in the main event.

Match #1: Iyo Sky w/Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai vs Shayna Baszler w/Sonya Deville and Zoey Stark

The match starts with Iyo getting the advantage thanks to her quickness, but things eventually turn around when Sonya and Zoey distract Iyo outside of the ring allowing Shayna to toss her into the ring post. From this point on, the match gains a much slower pace with Shayna punishing her opponent with several submissions and power moves. Iyo fights back with a missile dropkick and starts to gain momentum as Sonya and Zoey try to interfere again but are attacked by Dakota and Kairi and a huge brawl issues outside of the ring. Meanwhile in the ring, Iyo and Shayna continue to go back and forth until Iyo connects with the Moonsault and gets the win.

Match Result: Iyo Sky def. Shayna Baszler (12:34)

After the match, Shayna, Zoey and Sonya attack Damage CTRL until Asuka returns and saves them hitting Sonya with the mist. Zoey and Shayna pull her out of the ring as she screams that she can’t see and is attended by medical staff.

The new WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker is interviewed backstage and says he’s going to watch tonight’s 4-way no.1 contender’s match very closely promissing to be the most dominant champion ever. Sami Zayn interrupts and warns him not to worry since he won’t be champion for long because he talked to Pearce and next week he will have a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship… in a 30-minute Ironman match!

Match #2: Jey Uso vs IIja Dragunov vs Braun Strowman vs Sheamus – Fatal 4 Way No.1 Contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship

Uso, Dragunov and Sheamus try to take out Strowman early on in the match since he’s the bigger man but they are unsuccessful as Braun tackles them one by one repeatedly outside of the ring. Eventually, they get rid of him as the three men team up temporarily and put him through the announce table with a triple powerbomb. From then on, the match becomes a triple threat and very hard fought with neither man being able to gain the advantage. Strowman gets back into the match and hits Sheamus and Dragunov with powerslams but as he tries to pin Dragunov, Jey interrupts the cover with a Splash and pins Dragunov for the win.

Match Results: Jey Uso def. Strowman, Sheamus and Dragunov and becomes no.1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship (18:28)

Backstage, a furious Sonya Deville erupts into Pearce’s office demanding a match against Asuka. Adam says he’ll make it official, and it is happening next week.

The new World Heavyweight Champion Gunther cuts a promo in the ring celebrating on becoming the new champion until he is interrupted by the LWO. Rey says it’s been far too long since the last time that he was world champion and challenges Gunther for the championship. Gunther laughs and underestimates Mysterio claiming that he’s an old man trying to be relevant again and asks him how many surgeries he has had to his knee. Mysterio stays silent and Gunther continues to provoke him saying it’s a matter of time until his knee gives up for good and he’s taken out on a stretcher and never wrestles again. However, he says he will give him a chance to face him for the title… if he can beat Ludwig Kaiser next week. Mysterio accepts and Gunther tells him to try not to break his knee as he exits the ring.

Match #3: Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods vs Chad Gable w/Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile

A very technical and hard-fought match showing off both guys athleticism. The Creed Brothers attack Xavier outside of the ring and that is enough to distract Kofi as Gable hits him with a rolling german suplex and wins.

Match Results: Chad Gable def. Kofi Kingston (8:53)

In their locker room, The Judgment Day is shown talking about tonight’s match and try to come up with a plan to take out Damian and Rhea out once and for all. JD assures he’s going to take care of Damian and Liv says that Rhea is going to regret the day she broke her shoulder.

Match #4: The Miz and R-Truth vs AOP w/Karrion Cross and Scarlett

Miz and Truth put up a fight against the AOP but eventually the numbers game are too much. Karrion hits Truth with a cheap shot behind the referees back and that is enough for the AOP to connect with the last chapter and pick up the win.

Match Results: AOP def. Miz and Truth (6:15)

As soon as the match ends, the lights go out in the arena and Nikki Cross shows up staring creepily at Scarlett. She runs from the ring screaming and the rest of the Wyatt Sick6 appear attacking AOP and Cross. Uncle Howdy hits Sister Abigail on Cross and they all pose together as the crowd cheers.

Drew McIntyre cuts a promo in the ring confessing that, even though he defeated Punk at Summerslam, he’s still not satisfied and will only rest when Punk is in the hospital and never wrestles again. He plans on beating him so bad that even his wife AJ Lee will ask for a divorce ashamed of the loser her husband is. That is enough for Punk as he runs to the ring and attacks McIntyre. They brawl all over the ringside area and eventually Punk gains the upper hand hitting him with multiple chair shots to the back and finalizes with the GTS before the referees finally come up and send him back to the backstage area.

Match #5: Seth Rollins vs Bronson Reed

Rollins tries his best to knock Reed off his feet in the early portions of the match but he’s unsuccessful as Reed proves to be too powerful and splashes his opponent into the corner. Reed continues to punish Rollins throughout the match and working on his damaged back. Reed tries to end this with the Tsunami but Rollins moves out of the way and starts to gain momentum much to the delight of the audience. The action spills to the outside of the ring and the match ends in a double count-out as they brawl and ignore the referee’s count.

Match Results: Double count-out (15:47)

Both men continue to brawl even though the match ended. Bronson gets the last laugh as he spears Rollins through the barricade and connects with a Tsunami back in the ring.

Rey Mysterio is interviewed backstage as he is leaving the arena and is confronted about staying silent when Gunther spoke about his knee. Mysterio says he’s been doing this for 20 years so of course he’s not at a 100% and never will be. But assures that he still has a lot left in the tank and one more world championship reign left in him and that’s going to start with him beating Kaiser next week.

Match #6: The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) vs Katana Chance and Kayden Carter – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match

Katana and Kayden show a lot of fire against the champions and look very focused and determined on becoming the new champions. However, the champs prove to be too much to overcome as Alba connects with the Fyre Bomb and pins Katana to win the match.

Match Results: The Unholy Union def. Katana and Kayden (11:23)

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill emerge to interrupt the champion’s celebration and warn them to hold on to those titles while they can because they are next in line and are going to regain the championships they never should’ve lost.

Match #7: Damian Priest vs JD Mcdonaugh

Priest is very aggressive in this match and beats the hell out of JD unleashing all his anger and frustration. The referee warns him several times during the match to calm down or he’s going to get disqualified. JD is able to get some offense, but the match is mostly dominated by Priest. He looks to end things with the Salt of Heaven but the rest of the Judgment Day attack him ending the match in a disqualification.

Match Results: Damian Priest def. JD Mcdonagh by disqualification (10:09)

The Judgment Day beat Damian up like a pack of wolves until Rhea shows up and sends Liv across the announce table. Rhea goes face-to-face with Dominik and attacks him viciously with punches as the crowd erupts in cheers, but he’s saved by Liv as she hits the former champion with a steel chair several times. The beatdown continues as Finn connects with the Coup de Grace on Damian and Liv hits the Oblivion on Rhea on the chair. The Judgment Day pose together over the fallen bodies of Rhea and Priest, proud of their actions while the crowd boos and the show goes off the air.

NEXT WEEK ON RAW:

- Asuka vs Sonya Deville
- Rey Mysterio vs Ludwig Kaiser (If Rey wins he gets a world championship match against Gunther)
- Sami Zayn vs Bron Breakker in a 30-Minute Ironman match for the Intercontinental Championship
And more!!!

A pretty solid first edition of Raw. Don't expect you to change the world in one night so a lot of stuff following a similar path to in real life which is fine. Thumbs up from me for the Asuka return, the interesting first challenger to GUNTHER of Mysterio, and Jey Uso getting a shot at the IC strap.

Good luck with this, I will be following. Off to a good start.

Friday Night Smackdown
August 9th 2024
Cody Rhodes opens the show saying that he’s looking forward to a new challenger now that he’s done with The Bloodline and that he never thought he’d see the day where Roman Reigns would help him in any way. Randy Orton interrupts and talks about their history together going all the way back to 15 years ago when they were part of The Legacy. He says that a lost has changed since then as Cody went on to beat the most dominant champion of the last decades, but their friendship remained the same throughout all these years. However, there’s something Randy wants, and Cody is standing right in his way: The Undisputed WWE Championship. The crowd erupts in cheers with yes chants as Cody smiles and tells Orton to name the time and place. Both men shake hands with Orton staring at the championship.

Match #1: DIY vs A-Town Down Under vs The Street Profits – Triple Threat No.1 Contenders match for the WWE Tag Team Championships

The match starts with Gargano and Theory in the ring with Theory avoiding his opponent at all costs until Waller gets a cheap shot behind the referee’s back and Theory takes control of the match. The former champs dominate the match wearing Gargano down trading multiple tags between them. Eventually, Gargano tags his tag team partner, and all hell breaks loose as The Street Profits get involved interrupting a cover and the referee has a hard time taking control of this match. Both Ford and Dawkins get taken out outside of the ring by Theory and Waller and they look to end this match by taking Ciampa out, however Gargano saves him, brawls with Waller outside the ring and Ciampa picks up the win by making Theory submit to the Sicilian Stretch.

Match Results: DIY def. A-Town Down Under and The Street Profits (11:32)

The Bloodline is interviewed backstage about Roman Reigns and Sikoa says that he heard that his cousin is going to call him out to the ring later tonight and that Roman’s days as the tribal chief are dead and gone. He says that he has two options tonight: either he acknowledges him, or he will suffer the wrath of the bloodline.

Match #2: AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Andrade vs Baron Corbin - Winner faces the winner of the other 4-way match next week for a shot at the United States Championship

Very even match between all four competitors with a great sense of urgency as they all beat each other up. In the late stages of the match, Styles looks to have things going in his favor after hitting Corbin with the Styles Clash, however the pin is interrupted by Andrade. Styles looks frustrated and takes out his anger on Andrade as they brawl outside the ring and into the crowd. Nakamura takes advantage, connects with the Kinshasa on Corbin and wins.

Match Results: Shinsuke Nakamura def. AJ Styles, Andrade and Baron Corbin (14:04)

Tiffany Stratton cuts a promo in the ring and introduces the new WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax. They have a big party with balloons and champagne as the crowd boos and chants for Bayley. Jax mocks the crowd saying that Bayley is not here tonight and if she has any self-respect, she will never show up on Smackdown again. That’s when Bayley emerges from the crowd and attacks the champ. The numbers game are too much and this turns into a 2 on 1 beatdown until Mia Yim shows up with a kendo stick in hand taking out Nia. Tiffany is left all alone in the ring and begs for mercy, but Bayley pours a champagne bottle down her head and connects with the roseplant. Bayley and Mia stand tall as Jax watches from the ramp promising revenge.

Randy Orton is seen backstage in Nick Aldis’ office and the GM says that he watched what happened earlier tonight and that, honestly, he can’t think of a better main event for Bash in Berlin. He makes it official, and it will be Rhodes vs Orton for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Match #3: Kevin Owens vs Carmelo Hayes vs Santos Escobar vs Apollo Crews - Winner faces Nakamura next week for a shot at the United States Championship

The four competitors engage in a brawl right at the start of the match with Owens taking out all competitors outside of the ring with a swanton from the top rope. The match continues to be very hard-fought and at some point, Angel and Berto try to help Escobar, but they are taken out by Owens with multiple chair shots. Owens puts Escobar through the announce table with a powerbomb and turns his attentions to Carmello and Apollo, hitting both competitors with stunners and picking up the win by pinning Apollo.

Match Results: Kevin Owens def. Hayes, Escobar and Crews (10:56)

After the match, Nakamura attacks Owens with a Kinshasa. LA Knight shows up and Nakamura runs away through the crowd, but it doesn’t matter since the message has already been sent to Owens and the champion.

Match #4: Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill vs Chelsea Green and Piper Niven

The Women’s tag team champions join the commentary team for this match as they watch Belair and Cargill make quick work of the former champions in impressive fashion when Bianca pins Niven after connecting with the KOD.

Match Results: Belair and Cargill def. Piper and Chelsea (5:23)

Belair and Cargill celebrate their victory and confront the champions at ringside. Alba slaps Bianca and a huge brawl breaks out between the two teams with referees running to separate them.

Roman Reigns emerges in the arena to a huge pop from the crowd, taking his time to get in the ring as usual. Reigns says a lot has changed in WWE in such a short time: he’s no longer the Undisputed WWE Champion and apparently… he’s not the tribal chief anymore also. Reigns says he can accept that he no longer holds the world championship, but he will not accept the fact that his own family has turned on him. He calls Solo Sikoa out to the ring and eventually he comes, all by himself. They stare each other down and Solo says that Roman needs to accept that things have changed in WWE and in The Bloodline as well. He accuses Roman of going soft and that someone had to take over this family while he ran away crying like a bitch when he lost the world championship. The Bloodline needed some improvements and that’s exactly what Solo did and Roman has two options now: either acknowledge him as the tribal chief and he is welcomed back into the family with open arms or don’t and he becomes The Bloodline’s enemy number one. Roman looks conflicted for a few minutes as Solo screams for him to acknowledge him. Roman eventually gets down to one knee with the crowd looking shocked, grabs a microphone… and delivers a low blow to Solo Sikoa!!! The crowd erupts with cheers and yes chants as Roman beats up Solo and screams that as long as he’s alive Solo will never be the tribal chief. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa attack Roman from behind as Jacob Fatu pulls Solo out of the ring but Roman takes them out with a chair and spears Tama Tonga through the barricade. Back in the ring, he connects with the superman punch and a spear on Tonga Loa much to the delight of the crowd. Roman poses on the turnbuckle for the audience as Solo watches furious from the ramp alongside Fatu.

NEXT WEEK ON SMACKDOWN:
- Kevin Owens vs Shinsuke Nakamura in a No.1 Contender's match for the United States Championship
- Bayley and Mia Yim vs Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton
- AJ Styles vs Andrade
And more!!!

Monday Night Raw
August 12th 2024

Rhea Ripley comes out to the ring all by herself and calls out Dominik Mysterio. He appears and is booed heavily by the crowd as Rhea asks why he would he turn on her after everything they’ve been through. Dominik says the truth is that he never cared about her, he just needed help from someone to get rid of his deadbeat dad and help him reach the level of stardom he always dreamt of. And now that he’s a solidified superstar on Raw he no longer needs her and chose to get rid of her like the trash she is. Rhea says she can’t help but feel sorry for Dominik because he always needs to hide behind a woman to stay relevant. He did that to her and now he’s doing it with Liv Morgan. Rhea says that Dom and Liv look like two chickenshit cowards and that at least when she was with him one of them had a set of balls. The crowd lets out a big OH! for this as Dom stares Rhea down with fury in his eyes. Liv shows up and attacks Rhea from behind as the rest of the Judgment Day appear as well. Damian shows up to save Rhea and takes everybody out with a kendo stick. The Judgment Day retreats, and Rhea says that she’s sick of this running game, challenging Dominik and Liv to a mixed tag team match at Bash in Berlin against her and Damian.

Match #1: Bronson Reed vs Akira Tozawa w/Otis and Maxxine Dupri

Reed absolutely demolishes and makes quick work of Tozawa. Reed bounces him around the ring like he’s nothing and finally puts him away with the Tsunami.

Match Results: Bronson Reed def. Akira Tozawa (3:32)

After the match, Reed and Otis stare each other down. Looks like Reed is going to leave the ring but as soon as Otis turns around, he attacks him from behind. Otis fights back and hits Reed with an impressive shoulder tackle knocking him down and sending him out of the ring.

Sami Zayn is shown backstage getting ready for his match tonight when Jey Uso appears wishing him luck. Uso reminds Zayn that he’s next in line for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship and he hopes Zayn regains the title tonight so that they can have a classic match for the ages.

Match #2: Asuka w/Kairi Sane, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai vs Sonya Deville w/Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler

Asuka starts the match by playing some mind games with Sonya dancing around the ring and claiming that she’s not ready for her. Asuka sends her opponent to the outside and Sonya takes control by sending her shoulder first into the ring post. Sonya works on the shoulder throughout the match and tries to make Asuka submit to the cross armbreaker, however Asuka frees herself and gains some momentum hitting Sonya with a missile dropkick. Zoey and Shayna try to interfere but are taken out by Damage CTRL and the two teams brawl outside the ring. Sonya takes advantage and nearly wins the match with a spinebuster, but Asuka locks in the Asuka Lock and makes her submit.

Match Results: Asuka def. Sonya Deville (11:46)

CM Punk cuts a promo in the ring saying that you can say all you want about him but there’s one thing you can’t do, there’s one line that you don’t cross and that is mention his wife’s name. Punk warns McIntyre that he crossed that line and now he must pay for it. He will not rest until Mcintyre is down on his knees begging for mercy and he hopes God has mercy on him because Punk for sure will not. Punk announces that he talked with Pearce and at the Bash in Berlin it will be him vs Drew McIntyre in a Street Fight and one thing’s for sure: only one of them will walk out of Berlin standing on his own two feet. McIntyre appears on the titantron and says Punk has just made the biggest mistake of his life. He provokes Punk once more and says that after he destroys Punk in Berlin, AJ Lee will have no choice but to divorce Punk and marry him instead. Punk gets furious and calls him a mother**** piece of s*** asking him where he is because he wants to beat his ass right now. McIntyre says bring it and tells him to meet him in the parking lot.

We come back from a commercial break and Punk is in the parking lot looking for McIntyre like a possessed man. McIntyre hits Punk from behind with a steel pipe and they engage in a violent brawl as referees and security try to separate the two. That doesn’t stop them because Punk and McIntyre beat up the referees and security and go at it again. Eventually, McIntyre gets the upper hand and throws Punk headfirst into a car window, breaking the window in the process and leaving Punk a bloody mess. Medical staff help Punk as more referees and security send McIntyre away. However, he’s not done and goes back into the attack punching Punk violently which makes him bleed even more and connects with a Future Shock DDT on top of the hood of a car. McIntyre finally leaves the scene as medical staff check on Punk and Pearce yells for someone to call 911.

Punk is shown getting loaded into an ambulance with several wrestlers observing with a concerned look on their faces. Meanwhile, McIntyre is shown leaving the arena and is interviewed showing no remorse for his actions and that Punk did this to himself.

Match #3: Rey Mysterio vs Ludwig Kaiser w/Gunther – If Rey wins he gets a World Championship match at Bash in Berlin

Rey looks more focused in this match than he has in a very long time, fighting with a sense of urgency as Gunther watches sited on a chair next to the announce table. The action spills to the outside and Rey sends Kaiser flying into Gunther with a hurricanrana. That infuriates the champion as he tries to interfere in the match, but the LWO shows up and stops him. Gunther takes out Lee, Wilde and Cruz Del Toro all by himself and Kaiser tries to take advantage of the distraction but Rey fights back and hits the 619 picking up the victory.

Match Results: Rey Mysterio def. Ludwig Kaiser (10:36)

Rey doesn’t have time to celebrate as Gunther continues to beat up his friends and attacks the champ with a suicide dive taking him down. Rey attacks Gunther with punches but is stopped by a big boot. Gunther continues the assault and hits Rey’s knee with a steel chair leaving him screaming in pain.

Dominik and Liv Morgan are interviewed backstage and they refuse Rhea’s challenge for Bash in Berlin with Liv saying that she already beat her and has nothing left to prove. Pearce interrupts and puts them in their place saying that he’s the one that makes the matches around here. And actually he has just talked to WWE Management and the match has been made official. Liv and Dominik leave looking furious.

Match #4: Bianca Belair w/Jade Cargill vs Alba Fyre w/Isla Dawn

Alba dominates Belair in the early portions of the match but her opponent’s power proves to be too much and she is able to fight back with a huge suplex. Isla tries to interfere but is taken out by Jade who sends her flying into the barricade, meanwhile in the ring Bianca connects with the KOD and wins.

Match Results: Bianca Belair def. Alba Fyre (5:27)

Bianca and Jade cut a promo after the match and say that the days of Alba and Isla as champions are numbered because next week on Raw they will face them for the championships.

Match #5: New Day vs The Creed Brothers w/Chad Gable and Ivy Nile

Early in the match, The Creeds dominate their opponents isolating Xavier and making frequent tags between them showing that they are a cohesive unit and future champs. Every time Xavier tries to build some momentum, Chad Gable is there to stop him with cheap shots behind the referee’s back. He tries to do it again but this time the ref catches him and sends Gable and Ivy back to the locker room. This is the turning point of the match as Xavier tags Kofi and he brings the fight to the Creeds. The match goes back and forth some more minutes until Kofi connects with Trouble in Paradise and picks up the win.

Match Results: New Day def. The Creed Brothers (15:43)

The Final Testment cut a promo in the ring saying that they are not afraid of those weirdos of The Wyatt Sick6 and dare them to come to the ring. The lights go out and Rowan, Lumis, Gacy and Cross emerge on the stage with AOP going to meet them, leaving Karrion Cross alone in the ring. Uncle Howdy appears behind Karrion and hits him with Sister Abigail for the second week in a row as soon as he turns around.

Backstage, The Final Testment is still furious over what just happened and get in their car to leave the arena. Suddenly, we hear screams from Scarlett and they all leave the car running away. The camera gets closer and we see Nikki Cross inside with a sinister look on her face and smoke coming out of the car.

Match #6: Bron Breakker vs Sami Zayn – 30 Minute Ironman match for the Intercontinental Championship

This starts at a really slow pace since both men know this is going to be a long match and avoid getting tired in the early goings. Neither man can get the advantage over the other until Zayn jumps off the rop rope and lands awkwardly on his knee. Breakker smells blood like a shark and proceeds to issue a vicious assault on the knee pushing it against the ring post several times. Zayn is not able to get any offense during several minutes as Breakker continues to punish the knee and tries to go for the spear, however Zayn moves out of the way, rolls him up and scores the first pinfall of the match! (Bron Breakker 0 – 1 Sami Zayn)

Breakker is furious and unleashes a beatdown on the former champ, sending him to the outside and into the ring steps. With an evil look on his face, Breakker begins to tear apart the announce table and hits Zayn with a powerslam off the barricade through the table!!! The champion goes back to the ring and the referee has no choice but to count out Zayn since he’s not able to answer the 10 count. (Bron Breakker 1 – 1 Sami Zayn).

We are halfway through the match now and the intercontinental champion immediately goes back to the attack, pins Zayn inside the ring and he kicks out at two! Breakker can’t believe it and frustration starts to build as he punches Zayn repeatedly and the referee tells him to stop or he will be disqualified. Zayn finally comes back into the match and starts to build some momentum with the crowd firmly behind him, connects with a suplex into the corner and tries to go for the Helluva Kick but his knee gives up as he is running across the ring. Breakker sees an opportunity and tries to take advantage, but the challenger counters with a blue thunder bomb for a two count. Both men are down and start to trade punches as the crowd cheers for Zayn. Feeding off the energy from the crowd, Zayn takes control and climbs to the top rope, goes for a crossbody but Breakker hits him with a spear in mid-air scoring another pinfall. (Bron Breakker 2 – 1 Sami Zayn).

Breakker taunts Zayn for a bit and laughs calling him a loser. The referee checks on Zayn to see if he can continue this match as he can barely walk because of his knee. Zayn pushes the referee away, tosses Breaker to the outside and hits a huge tornado DDT on the floor, fired up and fighting through the pain. Zayn finally connects with the Helluva Kick inside the ring and evens the score. (Bron Breakker 2 – 2 Sami Zayn).

The match is now 5 minutes away from ending, Zayn realizes this and goes back into the attack with a sense of urgency. Tries to go for the Helluva Kick again but Breakker counters with a huge spear, covers him and Zayn kicks out in pure instinct!!! The champ is in disbelief and the crowd goes insane as Breakker argues with the referee claiming it was a three count. He is livid and grabs Zayn, who hasn’t moved since the spear, and connects with a huge powerslam off the top rope scoring the pinfall. (Bron Breakker 3 – 2 Sami Zayn).

We have two minutes left now and the champion is all smiles since he believes he has already won this match. Suddenly, Zayn shows that he still has fight in him, rolls him up and Breakker barely kicks out. Breakker is stunned and Zayn locks him in a crossface!! The champ screams in pain as we are now less than a minute for the match to end, Zayn screams for him to tap out and the crowd is insane now believing that the challenger still has a chance. Breakker is able to get to the ropes, but Zayn won’t let him go, drags him back to the center of the ring and again locks in the crossface. We have now 20 seconds left in the match, Breakker lifts his hand and thinks about tapping but he’s able to hold on and eventually the time runs out.

Match Results: Bron Breakker def. Sami Zayn (3-2) (30:00)

Zayn has a disappointed look on his face as the referee delivers the championship to Breakker. He goes back to the ring and attacks Zayn hoping to inflict more damage, but Jey Uso runs to the ring and sends the champion away. Jey helps Zayn get back to his feet and the crowd gives him a standing ovation for his performance in this match.

Summerslam is a great jumping off point. Solo has to come back strong, Gunther is our new champion, Punk needs revenge, and Bron and LA Knight are new champions. Lets see where this goes..

RAW #1
The new (and improved!) Judgement Day shit talk, get chased off, and JD inevitably takes the brunt by having to face Damien. Logical enough.

Are you calling Shayna, Zoey, and Sonya PFC!? It's a mouthful aint it. ASUKA RETURNS! I've been waiting for this in real life so I'm happy to see her back.

Jey vs Bron is the logical way to go, as they did in real life, absolutely fine with it - although I wonder how you'll handle establishing Jey as a fully fledged solo guy. Feels like he's never really had that run, but derailing Bron aint the way, that boy's a monster.

Rey vs Gunther is slightly less exciting than what we got in real life with Orton, mostly because you expect Gunter to be uber over in Germany, but it's hard to sympathise with a babyface that towers over a legend like Rey. Not to say I don't welcome a program between them, but this felt like there were better choices out there, even if they posed less of a credible threat to Gunther's reign.

Damn, Chad Gable was able to finish a match without being attacked by those darned Wyatt Sicks. Shocker. Glad to see Chad get a W.

Wyatt Sicks going after AOP is a bit of a pivot for me, especially with all the 'family' angles they've had going with American Made. I can see that it allows you to put the Wyatt weirdo's over a less-established outfit like the final testament, because aside from Scarlett and Karrion doing Jesse Ventura impressions, I do not enjoy those guys.

Punk gets his heat back very directly. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE BRACELET!? This one aint done yet, not by a long shot.

Again, it's tough because some of the decisions made lately have been awesome, and the Bronson Reed septuplet Tsunami was one of them. It may have wrecked his knees but it got him over as a legitimate wildcard. As did the attack on Braun in the parking lot. It felt weird that Seth, who hasn't really been wrestling, would face Reed out of nowhere in a TV show match. The angle achieved more than this match did, and it went 15 minutes!? That's crazy long for this kind of match and I feel like it would expose Bronson Reed more than it would elevate him. Sorry, this just felt off.

Solid ending to the show with J-Day kicking ass and attacking the Twins. Dom's beatdown will come, as will Liv's, until then I like the mob mentality ruling supreme.

I liked the show. It's tough whilst it's still trying to carve stories and characters that aren't parallel to what we're seeing on TV at the moment. I think the show did a good job of setting the stage for a few things even if it feels a bit like you've made a few choices that weren't as exciting as they were in real life. Not to hold that against you, but once these shows depart where we're at on TV, that should help a lot.

Smackdown #1

Okay, Randy not going to challenge Gunther, and instead challenging Cody gets a thumbs up from me. Felt like it was teased earlier in the year, so its nice to see the payoff to that. Huge match, although what will Owen's be doing instead?

Love DIY, was hoping the Street Profits were going to get the dub but as long as A-Town Down Under get slapped up I am all good.

Holy shit, AJ and Nakamura back on Smackdown. Feels forced even if having them back would be excellent, they're obviously on a different kind of schedule at the moment and with the addition of Baron Corbin this felt like just a match to get people on the card. I get its a US title tournament like the IC title one, but I'd want it to be used to elevate people, not just to get AJ, Nakamura, et all a pay day. Owens vs Shinsuka would be a great match, but with emotional depth rather than just via brackets. LA Knight will have a crazy strong and credible challenger right away no matter who wins (I presume KO).

I liked the end of the show better than how it was done in real life. Jacob being kept away from Roman as long as possible before destroying him and giving Roman a real test before he eventually topples Solo, and then The Rock will return, and the Bloodline versus Babyfaces Assemble can run. It's all positioned wonderfully.

RAW #2

The parallel's continue, although Rhea asking why Dom left her is less important than seeing her headbutt him every opportunity she gets. Damien makes the save and we go to Bash in Berlin with a mixed tag.

Poor Tozawa. First of all his gimmick sucks, and now he's got to handle Bronson Reed. Great squash victim, this was solid. Otis vs Reed is a great program.

Asuka with the return victory, as it should be. I'm surprised there was no PFC attack post match, but I'm also glad.

This Drew/Punk interaction felt repetitive and forced, and I didn't really buy into their motivations. I know why they're fighting, and sometimes it's harder to keep the fuel going when you know what's at stake and nothing is being revealed, but you can just take the foot off the gas and let it simmer awhile. The beatdown was good though, mirroring what happened in Punk's hometown in real life.

Rey obviously beats Ludwig, he doesn't need building up, he's ready to go. Also, I am heartbroken that you put The New Day (yawn) over The Creed's. I see big thing for Julius and Brutus and they just can't get a win.

Bron beats Sami, although I'd have done the clean sweep myself. Solidifies him as champion and makes for a fantastic main event of RAW.

This show felt like it was a little bit treading water as storyline's didn't so much progress as they did exist. Those middle shows are rough to keep things coming and keeping it fresh, but I did enjoy your booking of Reed this week, and Bron came out of the show looking strong. Aside from that, this was just a show for the most part, which is fine, not every show needs to be fireworks and swerves on every corner. It makes when those things do happen much more special.

Keep up the good work, I've enjoyed this so far.

The Judgment Day/Rhea and Priest had solid progression throughout the night here and the mixed tag like in real life makes sense. I am curious about Pearce needing to talk to WWE management about booking a PLE match though. Now that he's officially the GM, and not just an authority figure type like back when he worked with Sonya, can't he just book whatever he pleases?

Bronson/Otis hoss battle sounds like a fun way for Reed to continue to look like a beast. I liked the potential start of this here.

Bron getting that dominant victory over Sami like in real life was needed to win the feud. I'm looking forward to Bron/Jey too.

Dmg Ctrl/Sonya and co match with Asuka getting the win and all the shenanigans was solid enough.

Punk/Drew segment was good outside of Punk cursing. A bit much tbh, especially in this era.

Mysterio earning the title shot works okay. Not sure if he necessarily deserves it based on doing next to nothing for the last twelve months, but the match with Gunther should be fun. That's if it happens after Gunther just destroyed the knee.

Womens tag title match hype was standard with the challengers getting a singles win, and New Day over Creed Bro's was fine. Wyatt6 dealing with The FInal Testament doesn't really interest me all that much. One boring faction, and one faction that relies heavily on screen time of their opposition so then they can interrupt and do spooky stuff. I'll give you time to work through it, but is something I'm definitely unsure about at this point.

Raw was solid enough. Considering you've taken on a modern day BTB, there's still a lot of stuff here that is similar to in real life, but I'm enjoying most the things that you have started to put your own spin on. Looking forward to more.

Thanks for the comments guys. I've been trying to distance myself from real life as much as possible but it has been a challenge because the booking decisions and angles have been really good as of late. That will obviously change overtime.

Friday Night Smackdown
August 16th 2024

The show begins with Grayson Waller and Theory welcoming us to the Grayson Waller Effect and wecolme their guests: the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. Waller talks about their upcoming match and wonders if their friendship is even real, considering what happened when The Legacy ended. Orton and Cody say that a long time has passed but Waller doesn’t believe them saying it’s just a matter of time before Orton turns on Cody because that's what he does and that's who he is. Orton has had enough and delivers a RKO out of nowhere to Waller, this leads to Nick Aldis coming out and booking a tag team match for right now.

Match #1: Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton vs A Town Down Under

Cody and Orton work well as a team throughout the match and there are no signs of a disagreement despite the comments made by Waller and Theory just moments ago. The former tag team champs get some offense in the match but eventually Orton is able to connect with another RKO on Waller for the win.

Match Results: Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes def. A Town Down Under (8:46)

After the match, Orton stands behind Cody looking like he’s in position to RKO him but Rhodes realizes and turns around. They stare each other down, Orton smiles and walks away.

Kevin Owens is interviewed backstage about tonight's no.1 contenders match and is interrupted by Santos Escobar. He says that it should’ve been him in that match because if Owens hadn’t put him through the announce table last week he would have won. Owens tells him to stop bitching because he lost fair and square and Escobar says he will hear from him again soon.

Match #2: Bayley and Mia Yim vs Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton

A match mostly dominated by Nia and Tiffanny who isolate Mia, punishing and preventing her from tagging Bayley in the match. Eventually, Bayley tags in and the match goes back and forth for some minutes until the former champ connects with the Roseplant on Tiffanny and picks up the win.

Match Results: Bayley and Mia Yim def. Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton (9:22)

Tiffany hits Mia with her money in the bank briefcase and Nia tosses Bayley over the announce table after the match. They unleash a 2 on 1 beatdown on Mia as Bayley tries to save her but Nia and Tiffany trap her on the ropes and make her watch them beat up her friend. Nia grabs a chair and connects with the Annihilator on the chair as Bayley watches powerless.

Solo Sikoa cuts a promo backstage saying that his war with Reigns ends tonight, as he’s going to call him out to the ring all by himself so they can settle this once for all one-on-one and man to man.

Match #3: AJ Styles vs Andrade

Very hard-fought match between two of the best competitors on Smackdown. Andrade showcases his athleticism throughout the match while Styles tries to wear him down and work on his legs trying to prevent him from using his speed. The finish of the match comes when Styles tries to put this away with his finisher but Andrade counters with The Message and wins.

Match Results: Andrade def. AJ Styles (12:37)

In the backstage area, Cody confronts Orton about what happened earlier and wonders if he was going to RKO him. Orton says that was just him sending a message that at Bash in Berlin he can hit the RKO out of nowhere and he won’t see it coming. Because if he wanted to he would've hit the RKO on the spot. Cody looks confident and says that he’s going to be prepared and that the only one that is going to be caught off guard is Orton when he connects with the Cross Rhodes and retains his championship.

Match #4: Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn vs Candice Lerae and Indi Hartwell

Bianca and Cargill join commentary for this match and watch as the champions look confident and focused, dominating their opponents. This match doesn’t last long as Fyre and Dawn pick up the win looking more ready than ever ahead of their title defense on Raw.

Match Results: Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn def. Lerae and Hartwell (5:42)

Andrade is interviewed backstage about his huge win tonight but is attacked by AJ Styles, who punches him violently and sends him flying into some technical equipment.

Match #5: DIY vs Pretty Deadly

Pretty Deadly takes control of the match in the early stages as Ciampa and Gargano look to build momentum ahead of their tag team title match in two weeks on Smackdown. Eventually, DIY turn things around and pick up the win when Gargano makes Elton submit to the Gargano Escape.

Match Results: DIY def. Pretty Deadly (7:25)

DIY is interviewed after the match and talk about their title match in two weeks, looking confident that they are going to become champions again and take those titles from The Bloodline.

Match #6: Kevin Owens vs Shinsuke Nakamura – No.1 Contender’s match for the United States Championship

LA Knight joins commentary as he watches Owens and Nakamura doing battle for a chance to face him for the championship. The match starts very even but Nakamura eventually takes control when he launches Owens from the top rope back first into the apron. From this point on, Nakamura launches a vicious assault on Owens’ back sending him back first into the announce table and locking him in several submissions to apply some more pressure. Owens eventually shows that he still has fight in him and starts to build momentum until Santos Escobar appears and hits Owens with a cheap shot behind the referees back! Nakamura takes advantage and hits the Kinshasa for the win,

Match Results: Shinsuke Nakamura def. Kevin Owens (13:48)

Santos Escobar walks away after the match satisfied that he was able to cost Owens the victory, while Nakamura has a face off with Knight outside the ring who holds the US championship high above his head.

Solo Sikoa comes down to the ring all by himself and calls out Reigns, saying that they are going to settle this now. Reigns comes out to a huge pop from the crowd and before he can get inside the ring, Tonga and Loa attack him from behind. It’s clear that this was just an ambush to take out Reigns but he’s able to fight back the tag team champions until Jacob Fatu interferes and sends Reigns into the steel steps. Sikoa joins the assault and it’s a 4 on 1 beatdown now as Fatu climbs to the rope and hits a huge Splash on Reigns followed by the Spike from Sikoa. They are not done, Fatu positions Reigns in the corner, wraps a steel chair around his neck and connects with a running hip attack crushing his head against the chair. The Bloodline stands tall over a fallen Reigns as they hold their fingers in the air and the show fades to black.

NEXT WEEK ON SMACKDOWN:
- Shinsuke Nakamura vs Giovanni Vinci
- Bayley vs Tiffany Stratton
- Santos Escobar vs Carmelo Hayes
And more!!!

Bash in Berlin 2024 Updated Card:

Monday Night Raw
August 19th 2024

Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley kick off the show. They are fired up and talk about their mixed tag team match in just a couple of weeks with Ripley saying she can’t wait to get her hands on Liv and Dom. Damian says he hasn’t forgotten about Finn, his time will come to get his ass kicked but first he will take care of the biggest coward this company has ever seen. Liv and Dominik interrupt and they provoke Rhea with Dominik saying that he finally found a real mami to look up to. Liv and Dom kiss each other and Liv says that the Morgan revenge tour will continue at Bash in Berlin and will only end when Rhea is gone from WWE for good. The rest of The Judgment Day attack Damian from behind and Liv attacks Rhea as well as she is trying to help her friend. Rhea and Damian once again fall victims from a beatdown until the New Day appears and helps them, forcing Judgment Day to retreat. Adam Pearce suddenly appears and says he just had a hell of an idea for tonight’s main event. It’s been a while since Balor and JD have defended their titles and announces that tonight it’s going to be New Day vs Balor and JD for the World Tag Team Championships.

Match 1: Bronson Reed vs Otis w/Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Duppri

A huge clash between two behemoths. Reed and Otis have a very physical match with both men having trouble bringing the other down. At one point the ring almost colapses when Reed connects with a superplex from the top rope as Otis barely kicks out. Otis puts up a good fight but he eventually falls victim to Reed and he picks up the win after a Tsunami.

Match Results: Bronson Reed def. Otis (8:24)

Bronson Reed attacks Tozawa after the match, Otis comes to his rescue and both men brawl around the ringside area. Reed takes control of the situation when he throws a chair from the announce table right into the face of Otis, knocking him down. Reed hits both Otis and Tozawa with the steel steps and proceeds to put Otis through the announce table with a Tsunami from the barricade.

The Final Testament is interviewed backstage and talk about their latest issues with the Wyatt Sick6. Cross says he has no idea why those weirdos have been targeting them, but he assures that when all is said and done they will make sure that Uncle Howdy and his minions are destroyed. Suddenly, the screens behind them glitch and Uncle Howdy appears alongside the rest of the Wyatts. Howdy talks about his late brother Bray Wyatt saying he left without completing his mission, but he is here to do that, to continue his legacy and promises to come after everyone who ever wronged his brother and whoever attempts to disrespect his name. Howdy says that Cross tried to recruit Xavier Woods into his group and reminds him that the New Day were once one of the greatest rivals of Bray Wyatt and they eventually became the best of friends. Howdy says he will not allow Cross to disturb the people that Wyatt loved and he never again wants to hear him call his group a family because he doesn’t know what it feels like to have a real family. The Wyatt Sick6 are a real family but, most importantly, Bray Wyatt was his family. Howdy says he will show him what a real united family can do to protect the people they love and the screen fades to black.

Match #2: Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill vs Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

Lot at stake in this match as Belair and Cargill look to become champions once again. The champions eventually take control of the match and they isolate Belair from her partner. Isla and Alba look very focused and they trade multiple tags between them, working on the arms of Belair hoping to prevent her from using her power. At one point, Belair is able to break free, tags Cargill in the match and all hell breaks loose as both teams brawl and the referees has a bit of trouble trying to get this under control. The match continues to go back and forth until Cargill connects with Jaded on Dawn and we have new champions.

Match Results: Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill def. Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre (12:07) – New WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions

Drew McIntyre walks to the ring and talks about how good it felt last week to beat the hell out of CM Punk and says that when he had Punk’s blood in his hands, he finally got a little taste of revenge. He says Punk took everything from him so now he will make sure to take everything from him as well including his WWE career…and his wife. Sheamus appears to a huge pop from the crowd and confronts McIntyre saying that it takes a lot of nerve to talk about another man’s wife like he just did. Sheamus says someone needs to beat some respect into him and challenges McIntyre to a match right now. McIntyre accepts and says he has just made the biggest mistake of his life.

Match #3: Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus

A very physical match between these two men as this eventually turns into an all-out brawl. The referee has some difficulty trying to control both competitors and threatens to disqualify them several times throughout the match. McIntyre sends Sheamus back first into the ring post and works on his back for most of the match. Sheamus refuses to give up, starts to build momentum as the crowd feeds him with energy and tries to go for the Brogue Kick but McIntyre counters with a Claymore out of nowhere and wins.

Match Results: Drew McIntyre def. Sheamus (16:37)

Finn Balor and JD are shown backstage arguing with Adam Pearce about the fact that they must defend their titles tonight. Pearce says that his decision is final and that actually he forgot one thing: Judgment Day is banned from ringside.

Match #4: Jey Uso vs Pete Dunne

Uso looks to build momentum ahead of his championship match. At one point, Bron Breakker appears trying to interfere in the match behind the referee’s back but Jey superkicks him, performs a Splash from the top rope on Dunne and picks up the win.

Match Results: Jey Uso def. Pete Dunne (9:45)

Jey Uso doesn’t have time to celebrate since he gets hit with a huge spear from the Intercontinental Champion that turns him inside out. Breakker holds his championship high in the air with the message having been sent to the challenger.

Rey Mysterio walks to the ring with a crutch after the attack by Gunther on his knee last week and gives us an update on his medical condition, saying that his knee is beat up and he likely won’t be able to wrestle until Bash in Berlin but he assures that by the time that match comes he will be at a 100% and he will once again become a World Champion. Gunther interrupts and says that Mysterio is a stubborn man, his glory days are long gone and that he should seriously consider retirement. Gunther calls him a fool and tells him that at Bash in Berlin he will destroy his knee so bad that will have no choice but to put a stop to his stubbornness and he will be forced into retirement. And that when he does, at least we will still have a real Mysterio in this company to look up to. Mysterio says all his career he has been an underdog and been proving people wrong. At Bash in Berlin, he will do that once again. Gunther laughs in his face and kicks Mysterio’s leg, knocking him to the floor. He grabs the crutch and looks to hit his leg with it, but the LWO appear and Gunther has no choice but to back off.

Sami Zayn is interviewed backstage and looks disappointed that he couldn’t regain the Intercontinental Championship last week but that now it’s time to forget about past, dust himself off and look into the future. Chad Gable along with American Made interrupt and Gable makes fun of him saying he’s glad that Raw now has a real champion. Zayn reminds Gable that he beat him several times for the championship so he’s not understanding why he’s so full of himself. They get into an argument and American Made attacks Zayn. Miz and Truth save Zayn and a huge brawl breaks out backstage until they are separated by referees and security.

Match #5: The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) w/Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai vs Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark w/Sonya Deville

The match starts very even but eventually Baszler and Zoey take control of the match isolating Kairi in the corner and hitting her with several tag team moves. Eventually she’s able to tag Asuka into the match and look to be on their way to victory when suddenly Natalya emerges from the crowd and attacks Dakota Kai from behind. Deville joins and attacks Sky outside the ring as this is enough to distract Asuka and she is pinned by Zoey after a Z360.

Match Results: Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler def. The Kabuki Warriors (10:13)

Natalya embraces Deville, Baszler and Zoey appearing to have joined their group and the beatdown continues on Damage CTRL. Baszler and Natalya lock in the Kirifuda Clutch and the Sharpshooter on Asuka and Iyo Sky as Zoey connects with the Z360 on Kairi and Deville hits a huge knee to the face on Dakota Kai. The Pure Fusion Collective stand tall over a fallen Damage CTRL looking stronger than ever as the crowd boos.

Match #6: New Day vs Finn Balor and JD McDonagh – WWE World Tag Team Championships

A very fast paced match from the moment the bell rings with both teams doing anything in their power to gain the advantage over the other. At one point, Balor and JD look to be in big trouble as New Day looks to be on their way to victory but suddenly Dominik and Calito emerge from the crowd and distract Kofi. Balor takes advantage and connects with the Coup de Grace but Kofi kicks out!!! Balor is in shock as is the rest of the Judgment Day. Rhea and Damian appear to even the odds as Rhea delivers a huge headbutt to Dominik and Priest connects with the Salt of Heaven outside the ring on Carlito. The action continues inside the ring and Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise on JD winning the match and the titles.

Match Results: New Day def. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh (14:46) – New World Tag Team Champions

The crowd erupts in cheers as New Day celebrates the fact that they won tag team gold for the first time in three years. Damian and Rhea smile proud of the new champions and that they have just screwed Judgment Day out of the tag team championships.

NEXT WEEK ON RAW:
- Damian Priest vs Dominik Mysterio
- Gunther vs Dragon Lee
- Sami Zayn, The Miz and R-Truth vs American Made
- CM Punk returns

And more!!!

Friday Night Smackdown
August 23th 2024
Cody Rhodes kicks off the show and talks about how at WrestleMania he had the biggest victory of his career, reflects on his title reign so far and that in just a week he will have his biggest challenge yet, a man who has taught him everything: Randy Orton. Speaking of him, Orton interrupts and says that the fact that they are standing in the same ring reminds him of the time when Cody was following his lead. Orton says that he taught Cody everything but at Bash in Berlin he will prove that, in this case, the student has not outgrown the master. They are interrupted by The Bloodline and Solo reminds everyone that he and Cody have some unfinished business. And he doesn’t care who wins at Bash in Berlin, he will come for the WWE Championship again, now that Reigns is out of his way. The Bloodline circles the ring as Orton and Cody prepare to battle side by side. The Bloodline unleashes a vicious beatdown 4-on-2 until DIY runs to the ring and makes them retreat. Nick Aldis comes out and announces that in tonight’s main event The Bloodline will take on Cody, Orton and DIY.

Match #1: Shinsuke Nakamura vs Giovanni Vinci

Nakamura utilizes his veteran experience and stiking ability to maintain control early on. Vinci attempts to ground Nakamura with grappling moves and power holds, however, Nakamura’s unorthodox style with swift knee strikes and kicks keeps Vinci off balance. This ends up being a very one-sided affair as Nakamura picks up the win decisively when he connects with the Kinshasa.

Match Results: Shinsuke Nakamura def. Giovanni Vinci (6:43)

Nakamura continues the attack on Vinci but the US Champion LA Knight appears and sends the challenger flying out of the ring with a clothesline. Knight grabs a mic and says that he has watched Nakamura for a very long, long time and admits that he’s good. He has his fancy kicks, his flashy moves, his little mind games but the problem is that he’s not LA Knight. The champion says that while Nakamura has been dancing and playing mind tricks, he’s been fighting and earning every inch of this gold. Knight says this is his ring now and all the strong style in the world won’t save him from the beating he’s gonna give him at Bash in Berlin. The crowd chants ‘YEAH’ for this as Knight holds his championship high in the air and Nakamura stares him down from the ramp with a smirk.

The new WWE Women’s Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are interviewed backstage and are all smiles, happy that they once again became champions. Chelsea Green and Piver Niven interrupt followed by Candice Lerae and Indi Hartwell, with both teams claiming that they want a shot at those championships. Nick Aldis interrupts and schedules a match for tonight to determine the next no.1 contender’s for the tag team championships.

Andrade comes to the ring and talks about how last week he beat Styles in the middle of the ring fair and square but later that night he attacked him from behind like a coward. Andrade says last week he proved he’s better than Styles and that’s why he attacked him. Andrade calls Styles out to ring, daring him to come face him like a man instead of taking cheap shots behind his back. Styles comes out, microphone in hand, shaking his head with a smirk as he enters the ring. We can feel the tension already building and Styles says he didn’t attack him because he’s scared of him, he attacked him because he wasn’t gonna let him walk out of this building last week thinking he’s on his level. Andrade might be good but he’s not phenomenal and he’s going to show him that the next time they meet in the ring. Andrade says they can do it right here, right now and takes off his shirt. Styles takes off his shirt as well looking to be ready for a fight but suddenly backs off and says not tonight. The crowd boos and suddenly Styles takes a cheap shot on Andrade running through the crowd immediately before Andrade can get his hands on him.

Match #2: Santos Escobar vs Carmello Hayes

The bout starts with a series of fast-paced exchanges with each wrestler trying to gain the upper hand. Escobar utilizes his striking and submission skills, while Hayes counters with high-flying maneuvers. Midway through, Hayes executs a stunning springboad move nearly securing the victory, however Escobar recovers and eventually is able to connect with the Panthom Driver for the win.

Match Results: Santos Escobar def. Carmelo Hayes (10:32)

Escobar doesn’t have time to celebrate as he is immediately attacked by Kevin Owens who came through the crowd. Owens sends him into the steel steps and unleashes a vicious beatdown until he is attacked by Angel and Humberto from behind. Escobar and his associates beat down Owens stomping on him repeatedly and Escobar finalizes the attack with a Panthom Driver inside the ring.

Nia Jax comes to the ring accompanied by Tiffany Stratton and brags about her attack on Michin last week saying that probably the only person who tolerated Bayley back in the locker room is now nowhere to be found thanks to her and that Bayley gets lonelier each day that passes. Bayley interrupts and says that she will fight the two of them all by herself if she has to. Bayley says that she can’t help but feel sorry for Tiffany because she has been in her shoes. She has been used before by someone who was only friends with her so she could help her retain her championship. Bayley tries to talk some sense into Tiffanny saying that Nia is using her so that she can remain champion for as long as possible and because she’s afraid that Tiffany is going to cash in her contract on her. Tiffany says that’s the biggest crap she has ever heard and Bayley says that since she doesn’t wanna listen she will have to beat some sense into her and the referee comes out so they can start their match.

Match #2: Bayley vs Tiffany Stratton w/Nia Jax

The match begins with a test of strength, with Bayley taking control early. She uses her experience to ground Stratton with strategic holds, keeping her opponent on the mat. Stratton fights back, displaying her agility with a series of quick strikes and a dropkick that sends Bayley reeling. As the match progresses, Stratton hits an impressive suplex and a standing moonsault for a near fall. However, Bayley counters with a Bayley-to-belly scoring a near fall as well and shifting the tide in her favor. The crowd is fully invested in this match and Nia, seeing that Tiffany is in trouble, tries to interfere but is attacked by Naomi on the outside who sends her flying over the barricade with a huge dropkick. Meanwhile, inside the ring, the action goes back and forth briefly until Bayley is able to connect with the roseplant picking up the victory.

Match Results: Bayley def. Tiffany Stratton (11:18)

Bayley and Naomi embrace inside the ring and suddenly Tiffany takes Bayley down with her briefcase. Nia attacks Naomi sending her to outside, while Tiffany continues to pummel Bayley with the briefcase and hits her with the prettiest moonsault. On the outside, Nia tears apart the announce table and puts Naomi through it with a huge Samoan Drop. She joins Tiffany in her assault on Bayley and connects with the Annihilator on the former champion, leaving Bayley and Naomi reeling in pain as both Nia and Tiffany hold the women’s championship and the money in the bank briefcase high above their heads.

Backstage, the camera focuses on Solo Sikoa, leaning against a wall and with a serious look on his face. Solo talks about Reigns and says he warned him that the tides had changed. Roman can’t just disappear for months and then come back trying to take The Bloodline from him. Solo says he gave Roman a chance to acknowledge him and he didn’t take it so he had to pay. They may be family, but the tribe has a new chief now and he has to accept it the hard way. As for Cody, he will take his spot at the top of the WWE and that starts tonight when he pins him in the middle of the ring.

Match #3: Chelsea Green and Piper Niven vs Candice Lerae and Indi Hartwell – No.1 Contender’s match for WWE Tag Team Championship

The match features intense exchanges with Leare and Hartwell displaying their quickness and agility. However, Chelsea and Piper’s combination of strength and strategy ultimately leads them to victory when Piper pins Hartwell after a Michinoku Driver.

Match Results: Chelsea Green and Piper Niven def. Candice Leare and Indi Hartwell (7:38)

The champions Belair and Cargill are shown backstage watching their new found challengers, evaluating their competition and with a focused and determined look on their faces.

Match #4: Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and DIY vs The Bloodline

The match begins with Rhodes and Sikoa, showcasing their contrasting styles. Rhodes uses quick strikes, while Sikoa counters with powerful grapples. Orton tags in, employing his methodical approach, delivering punishing blows to Tama Tonga. Gargano and Ciampa bring their teamwork into play, however, as the match intensifies each team showcases their signature moves with Gargano hitting his Slingshot DDT on the apron on Tonga Loa and Orton executing a huge RKO on Fatu. In a dramatic climax, all hell breaks loose as all competitors brawl outside the ring. The referee tries to get this match under control but the animosity is too much between these two teams and the referee has no choice but to ring the bell.

Match Results: No-Contest (12:47)

The brawl continues after the match with Solo grabbing a chair and beating Cody down with it. Orton saves him and sends Solo flying across the announce table. Eventually, Cody, Orton and DIY are able to send The Bloodline retreat through the crowd with steel chairs in hand. All four competitors pose for the crowd in the ring until Orton drops Cody with a huge RKO out of nowhere!!! DIY stands there in shock as Orton says he warned Cody that he could it the RKO out of nowhere and he wouldn’t see it coming, leaving the ring immediately.

Monday Night Raw
August 26th 2024

CM Punk returns to Raw and receives a huge pop from the crowd. Punk is fired up and says that Drew is so scared of facing him once again that two weeks ago he tried to make sure he didn’t make it to Bash in Berlin. But guess what, Punk is like a fenix that always rises from the ashes, he has done it time and time again in his career and this time is no different. Punk says that this saturday not even God will be able to save McIntyre because he will use every weapon available under this ring, every part of this arena to inflict him pain and make him regret all the trash talk he has made about him and about his family. Drew McIntyre comes out and Punk immediately runs out of the ring looking to meet him in the ramp and ready to fight but he’s stopped by some security guards. Drew says he knew Punk would try something stupid like that, so he had these guys come with him to prevent that. Drew says he’s not in the mood to beat up Punk one more time but that this saturday he will show no mercy and this time he will make sure he never shows his face around here anymore. Punk says Drew is afraid of what he might do when he gets his hands on him and these security guards that he brought prove that. But in Berlin there will be no escape, there will be no goons, no one to protect him and he will show him that ten years away from this company only made him more dangerous. They lock eyes, tension thick in the air as the show goes to a commercial break.

Match #1: Sami Zayn, The Miz and R-Truth vs Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers w/Ivy Nile

The match starts with fast-paced exchanges, showcasing Gable’s technical prowess. The Creed Brothers isolate Miz in the corner, dominating their opponent with impressive double-team moves. Ultimately, after a series of near-falls from both sides, Zayn is able to get the victory for his team after he connects with the Helluva Kick on Julius.

Match Results: Sami Zayn, Miz and R-Truth def. American Made (14:33)

Drew McIntyre is shown leaving the arena when he is suddenly attacked by Punk from behind. A huge physical brawl issues backstage with security and referees trying to break this up. Adam Perce gets in the middle of things as well as he tries to restore some order but Punk and McIntyre look like two possessed men trying to beat the hell out of each other. Raw superstars come out to stop this madness and finally they are able to separate the two men, who yell at each other from a distance promising to destroy each other this saturday.

Match #2: Natalya w/Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark vs Iyo Sky w/Asuka, Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai

After Natalya’s betrayal last week, this is a match with a huge animosity between these two, which puts Natalya’s strength against Iyo’s quickness and agility. Iyo showcases her high-flying skills early on, evading Natalya’s offense and delivering quick strikes. As the match progresses, Natalya counters Iyo’s momentum locking in a Sharpshooter that forces Iyo to reach for the ropes. At one point, the distraction from Deville, Stark and Baszler creates chaos at ringside between the two teams, allowing Natalya to capitalize on the distraction and connect with a powerful Discus Lariat that gives her the win.

Match Results: Natalya def. Iyo Sky (10:52)

The Judgment Day is backstage, and they are not in a good mood after losing the Tag Team Championships last week. Balor says that this needs to end, they can’t allow Rhea and Damian to step their nose into their business each and every week. Dom and Liv say they’re going to take care of them and that starts tonight with Priest and ends with Rhea this saturday. Balor says that, when the time is right, they will go after the Tag Team Championships again and regain them.

Bron Breakker is standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in hand and calls out Jey Uso to the ring because he has some things he’d like to say to his face. Jey comes out and both competitors stare each other down for a minute. Bron says he has been observing Uso for a long time. From when he was part of The Bloodine, part of The Usos and all the way to a singles competitor and main-event Jey Uso. Bron says that, unfortunately, he hates to break it to him, but this is something that Uso knows deep inside: he is and always will be a tag team wrestler. The crowd boos this and Bron says that Uso needs to accept the fact that he doesn’t have what it takes to succeed as a singles wrestler in the WWE so the best thing for him to do would be to go back to be The Bloodline’s bitch. Uso responds by saying that Bron thinks he knows everything about him, but he knows nothing. Bron doesn’t know what it feels like to carry the weight he’s been carrying. He has been with family, he has fought his own family, and he has been clawing his way to the top ever since. Uso says he better believe that this saturday he will win his very first singles championship in the WWE. Bron has a smirk on his face and tells him that Jey will walk out of Berlin with his dreams crushed, leaving the ring in the process. Suddenly, he takes advantage that Jey has his back turned and comes back running to ring hitting him from behind. Bron stomps on Jey but the no.1 contender fights back with a huge superkick followed by a Splash from the top rope. The crowd erupts as Jey stands tall, holding the intercontinental championship in his hands.

Match #3: Karrion Cross w/AOP and Scarlett vs Braun Strowman

These two powerhouses clash in an intense, hard-hitting battle. From the opening bell, Cross and Strowman exchange heavy strikes, with neither man willing to back down. Cross targets Strowman’s arm hoping to neutralize his power, while Strowman relies on his raw strength to take control. As the match reaches his peak, suddenly the lights start to flicker as Uncle Howdy appears in the middle of the ring and delivers a Sister Abigail to Cross causing the disqualification.

Match Results: Karrion Cross def. Braun Strowman by disqualification (8:24)

Howdy and Strowman have an intense staredown as Nikki appears and delivers a mysterious worn-out box to Howdy. He opens the box and reveals an old, cracked sheep mask inside – the very same mask once worn by Strowman during his time with the Wyatt Family. Howdy lifts the mask, then drops it in front of Strowman and leaves the ring without saying a word. Braun stares down at the mask with a look of shock on his face, conflicted and shaken by the haunting reminder of his past.

Bronson Reed is walking to the ring as he gets ready for his match when out of nowhere he is attacked by Otis who jumps from the barricade hitting him with a clothesline. They brawl around the ringside area and referees try to intervene, but the two men are too enraged, tossing chairs around as they battle their way deep into the arena. Reed slams Otis into a row of equipment cases near the staging area and Otis rallies with a headbutt but Bronson responds with a thunderous clothesline that flattens Otis against the metal cases. They both climb to the top of the cases and Reed eyes a set of tables below. They are high above the ground and in an impressive show of agility for his size, Reed connects with a crossbody that sends him and Otis crashing to the floor and through the tables beneath them!!! The tables explode into splinters as both men lie motionless, surrounded by the wreckage. Officials and medics rush to the scene, checking on both Reed and Otis as the crowd chants “Holy s***!” in disbelief. Reed slowly rises from the debris with a look of satisfaction on his face, having made a massive statement.

The new World Tag Team Champions New Day are backstage in a great mood when they are interrupted by Ivar. He calls their victory last week a fluke and says that they have forgotten what it’s like to be in the ring with a true warrior. Ivar challenges Kofi to a one-one-one match tonight promising to bring an end to their good mood.

Match #4: Gunther vs Dragon Lee

The bell rings and Dragon Lee tries to use his speed and agility to get the upper hand, but he’s quickly overpowered by Gunther. Every attempt by Lee to mount offense is met with vicious counters, as Gunther’s devasting chops echo throughout the arena. Despite a brief rally where Lee manages to hit a few high-flying moves, including a missile dropkick that momentarily stuns Gunther, the Ring General quickly regains control wearing him down with crushing backbreakers. The match ends with Gunther delivering his signature Powerbomb, decisively pinning Dragon Lee for the three-count.

Match Results: Gunther def. Dragon Lee (9:48)

After the match, Gunther continues the attack on Dragon Lee hitting his already damaged chest with huge chops. Rey Mysterio appears, still in crutches, and has an intense staredown with the world champion inside the ring. Gunther makes fun of his damaged knee when, much to his surprise, Mysterio grabs the crutch and reveals that his knee is just fine, unleashing a vicious assault on Gunther with the crutch. Mysterio puts him in position for the 619 but the Ring General is saved by Kaiser who pulls him out of the ring. Mysterio and Gunther stare each other down from a distance with the masked superstar showing that he’s fully ready for their match in Berlin.

Rhea Ripley has an intense argument with Finn Balor backstage with Balor saying that he was the one that pushed for Dom to dump her and get with Liv instead. Rhea says that Balor really is dumber than he looks. She was the one that was holding the Judgment Day together when Balor and Priest couldn’t put their differences aside. Rhea says that without her that group will crumble to the ground, and she will be here to see it with a huge smile on her face.

Match #5: Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods vs Ivar w/Valhalla

Kofi tries to use his speed and agility to overpower Ivar in the beginning stages of the match, but Ivar quickly takes control of the match by sending Kofi flying across the ring like he is nothing. Kofi eventually gains some momentum and looks to be on his way to victory when out of nowhere a huge man appears at ringside and attacks Xavier Woods. That man is none other than Erik who has just returned from injury. Ivar takes advantage of the momentary distraction and picks up the win after connecting with a huge moonsault.

Match Results: Ivar def. Kofi Kingston (10:15)

The Viking Raiders are finally reunited as they beat down the tag team champions after the match. Erik and Ivar connect with huge powerbombs on both men and pose with the championships, with their intentions of becoming champions having been clearly made.

Backstage, Adam Pearce gives us an update on the medical condition of both Reed and Otis. Adam says the two men are fine, despite the wreckage, and haven’t sustained serious injuries. Adam says this needs to end and announces that Reed and Otis will face each other one more time next week in a No Holds Barred match.

Match #6: Damian Priest vs Dominik Mysterio

Priest, fueled by his desire for revenge, dominates the early parts of this match with his power and aggression. Dominik, using his agility and underhanded tactics, tries to keep himself in the fight, but Priest’s strength proves to be overwhelming. As the match goes on, Dominik finds brief openings, using evasive maneuvers and taking advantage of Priest’s frustration to land a few high-flying moves. However, Priest soon regains control and sets him up for the South of Heaven but he is attacked by the remaining remembers of Judgment Day causing the disqualification.

Match Results: Damian Priest def. Dominik Mysterio by disqualification (13:36)

Priest finds himself victim of a beatdown once again as Rhea Ripley rushes to the ring to rescue him. Rhea delivers huge headbutts to Dominik and Balor but is stopped by Liv who brings her down with a chop block to the knee. The show goes off the air with Liv locking Rhea in the Rings of Saturn submission as Dom locks Priest in a cross face at the same time. Rhea and Priest scream in pain, as the announcers question if this is a sign of things to come this saturday at Bash in Berlin.
