MONDAY NIGHT RAW - 1.1.24
The show opened with the current World Heavyweight Champion, Seth “Freakin” Rollins(c) in the ring to cut a promo. In which he put over the fact that he had been a fighting champion and was very confident of continuing to do so. He finished it off by issuing an open challenge for the title in the main event.
Zoey Stark with Shayna Baszler beat Xia Li via the Z-360
Pre-recorded promos from Alpha Academy and the Viking Raiders aired.
Viking Raiders with Valhalla beat Alpha Academy with Chad Gable & Maxxine Dupri. Erik and Ivar hit Ragnarok on Akira Tozawa with Ivar getting the pin
Backstage the Judgment Day and Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley(c) got into an altercation. With the trio of the Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile. Which led to RAW GM Adam Pearce making two matches. A title match between Ripley and Nile and a tag team match between the Creeds and the duo of Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh.
Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell beat WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Double KC. In a Championship Eliminator match, Hartwell pinned Katana Chance.
RAW GM Adam Pearce made a championship match between LeRae & Hartwell and Double KC(c) for next week.
The Creed Brothers beat the Judgment Day members. Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh in a tag team match.

Carmelo Hayes with NXT Champion Trick Williams beat Kevin Owens with Nothing but Net. To become the N1C to the WWE US Championship.
Backstage SD GM Nick Aldis announced that Carmelo Hayes would challenge Logan Paul(c). At the Rumble for the WWE United States Championship.
Iyo Sky with Damage CTRL(c) beat Alba Fyre with Isla Dawn. To retain the WWE Women’s Championship thanks to the Over the Moonsault.
Pre-recorded promos from the New Catch Republic and A-Town Down Under aired.
New Catch Republic beat A-Town Down Under by way of pinfall. Tyler Bate pinned Grayson Waller with the Tyler Driver 97.
Backstage the WWE Women’s Champion Iyo Sky(c) and the rest of Damage CTRL. Made fun of B-Fab which led to the latter challenging her to a title match next week. But Sky said she would face Bayley instead which left Bayley a bit uneasy.
The main event of the episode saw the trio of AJ Styles, LA Knight and Randy Orton face off to crown a N1C to the WWE Universal Championship. It ended without a clear winner being crowned. As the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and the rest of the Bloodline attacked all three men.

TRICK WILLIAMS(C) VS CARMELO HAYES
On the first episode of NXT of 2024 which also happened to be the New Year’s Evil special. A match for the NXT Championship served as the main event of the night. As then champion the “Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov(c) defended against the winner of the 2023 Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge, Trick Williams.
When it was all said and done we had a new champion in the form of Williams. The following episode saw Williams successfully defeat Dragunov in the rematch, after the match Carmelo Hayes attacked Williams.
As a result of this NXT GM Ava announced a Championship versus Career match as the main event of NXT Vengeance Day.
