WS World of Wrestling

There's no backstory here. No storyline. For the heck of it, we'll say the multi-verse has collided and come together or something.

Here's how this works. You, the members of Wrestlesmarks...get to build MY roster.

The initial roster for the WS World of Wrestling promotion will be made up of workers, managers, announcers, etc. that you send me. Then, prediction contest points will allow you all to add wrestlers and such over time.

So how do we kick things off? PM me the following:

8 In-Ring Competitors from any time, any era, and any promotion. At least two of them must be women.
1 manager/non-wrestler/authority figure type who doesn't have an extensive wrestling history (so, not someone like William Regal). If you aren't sure just send and give it a shot.
1 Wildcard. Could be a wrestler, a celebrity, a manager. Whatever, as long as they had something to do in the pro wrestling business.

Note: It is up to me how to use the workers/wrestlers provided. You can send me, say, Triple H, but I may use him as Hunter Hearst Helmsley, for example.

Now, some honesty. My main wrestling fandom has always been WWE and I am familiar with WWE from the 1980s. I also strongly know a lot about WCW and ECW. It doesn't mean I don't know anything from AEW, or Mexico, or Japan or 1950s wrestling or whatever, but I may not be as familiar with them and may use them in a disappointing fashion. It also helps if at least a couple of your selections are on the lower end of the card. Someone has to job.

Thank you for all the lists! A few notes going forward.

-If you don't see someone you put into the roster, there's a chance I'm saving them...or there's a chance I don't know how to use them! But you never know, don't get too discouraged! Plus, there will be opportunities to add people at different junctures of the project!

-Don't expect realism, especially when it comes to time. Because I'll be using different characters of different time periods, some time paradoxes will take place.

-Remember, you may have given me someone, but I'm the one choosing the gimmick. If you picked Triple H and you see Terra Ryzing out there, well, don't say I didn't warn you!

-You'll have two numbers that represent prediction contest points. One number will be your points - purchases. The other is an overall running total. The overall running total will be used for the All-In(teractive) PPV.

-Purchases are the opportunity to add wrestlers into the project. For information will be made available later.

Tony Schiavone: “HISTORY WILL BE MADE at the WrestleSmarks World of Wrestling Royal Rumble! This is your official Royal Rumble Preview Show, I’m Tony Schiavone and with me is the one and only Bobby “The Brain” Heenan.” Brain, we’ve got three matches that will determine three new champions…but we don’t know any of the participants!”

Bobby Heenan: “Maybe you don’t know, but I do!”

Tony Schiavone: “What? What do you mean?”

Bobby Heenan: “I’ll explain it later, let’s get through this Schiavone!”

Casino Gauntlet Match for the WSWOW Women’s Championship

Tony Schiavone: “What we have here is one a special match to determine the first ever Women’s Champion here at WrestleSmarks World of Wrestling! This match is unique that not only do we not know the participants…we don’t even know how many participants there are!”

Bobby Heenan: “That makes no sense, how can anyone prepare for that?”

Tony Schiavone: “After two women begin the match, every two minutes another participant will enter the match, similar to the Royal Rumble. The only catch is…the match can end at anytime by pin or submission, even before we get to entrant three!”

Bobby Heenan: “What? That’s insane Schiavone!”

Tony Schiavone: “Whomever scores that fall will become Women’s Champion!”

Tag Team Turmoil Match for the WSWOW Tag Team Championship

Tony Schiavone: “Maybe this one will make more sense for you Brain. Six teams will compete in Tag Team Turmoil, with the winning team becoming the first WrestleSmark World of Wrestling Tag Team Champions.

Bobby Heenan: “Now this one I know. It pays to be the last team entering for sure! I also heard a big name for this one, Tony.”

Tony Schiavone: “Well, care to share, Brain.”

Bobby Heenan: “Not on your life, Schiavone!”

30 Participant Royal Rumble Match for the WSWOW Championship

Tony Schiavone: “And of course, the big one. Thirty will enter, twenty-nine will go over the top rope in the Royal Rumble. I don’t think any extra explanation is needed.”

Bobby Heenan: “I have my money riding on a couple guys, Schiavone!”

Tony Schiavone: “Are you just pulling my leg?”

Bobby Heenan: “Not this time…just trust me!”

Tony Schiavone: “We will see you all at the Royal Rumble, live on Pay-Per-View! History will be made, you won’t want to miss it!”​
