What IF DX never been formed?....
Do you think that HHH would be successful
Yes.... Student of the game and all that.... He used to get good heat when he was Hunter Hurst Helmsley pre-DX. Whether he would have been AS succesful...? I could well imagine him still being world champ, but I think his associtaion with DX gave him the longevity to ensure he was still on top in order to fullfill his perceived covert mission of destroying WWE.
and thus lead to his marriage to Stephany?
Being succesful led to his wedding? You honestly think Steph "The Billion Dollar Princess" was somehow impressed by the relatively paultry amount of wealth and power that HE had? I know you didn't say as much outright but even the thought of it is rediculous!
Do you think that the DX formation helped him more than him helping others of his group? (HBK was already a big star before joining DX anyway).
Being more talented than Billy, Dawg & XPac is what ACTUALLY helped him.
Do you think 123 Kid (X-pac) and the others actually were screwed 'cause HHH was in that group?
Waltman prob has HHH to thank for his spot in DX to start with, but regardless X-Pac got as high in the company as his abilities and size were gonna take him.
As for the others, Billy & Dawg bitch about HHH, but lets look at their respective singles careers... Hardly set the E' on fire did they? Especially Billy.... Look how much hype/push they gave him... KOTR, IC title, a Summerslam fued with the Rock , JR calling him the "Best pure athlete in WWF" for yeeearrs!
They were a great tag team, but that's about it.
Dont you think that X-pac would have been a bigger star than HHH in that case?
No, funnily' enough, I've NEVER thought that... Not once.... EVER.
Always thought of Razor Ramon being in that group would have been better than HHH.
Cool prospect, BUT he has never been in WWE during a DX run.
I think the biggest question mark of what might have been is, if Hall/Nash/Pac hadn't left, would we have ever seen The Kliq ever represented as a faction on screen.
Interesting that you focussed your post on HHH, rather than the overall effect of DX on the WWE, the ratings and, in turn, WCW. Not a fan of the man that single-handedly built your favourite star, I assume?
