What if Benoit never killed his family then himself, would Morrison be a ECW champ ever? Do you think that Morrison would have succeeded to win the ECW?
Would CM Punk got the opportunity much slower to be a maineventer? Would that event gave an opportunity to see better feuds and rating for ECW as Benoit is the champ?

I think about this every time I see Morrison. Personally I think he would have stayed Johnny Nitro and gotten released when he was busted for steroids or months after. I don't believe punk would have changed much though. Punk was obviously set up for a feud with Chris Benoit for the ECW Title and maybe een a heel turn. The ratings would have probably went up by about .2 at least I hope.

If Benoit would have showed up to that PPV, Morrison (Nitro at the time) would have never even had a good chance at being ECW champ. We would have a good Benoit vs. Punk feud and Punk wouldn't mainevent until being drafted to raw. I dont even think Morrison would be Morrison he would still be Nitro because he didn't get enough heat to turn into a mega cocky arrogant figure in the WWE
