I just came across this on Twitter, and I'm not quite sure if it will affect wrestling as a whole or not whenever it passes

Good. The non-compete clause is shit anyways and this will only help the workers.

People seem to think this will affect wrestling but most likely no. Also still some questions whether it'll go through too but on top of that the wrestler non competes aren't really the same as here since they're independent contractors and are still paid during the non compete times.

This would be more for actual company employees who have non paid non competes. It goes as low as fast food workers not allowed to go to a separate franchise for a certain time period without receiving any pay for that restriction

I was always confused as to why people think non competes in wrestling are this terrible thing.

You get 90 days to heal your body AND you’re getting paid for it
