The second version is better. I dont think it really suits the e-fed style, unless ofcourse it is fairly soft, and not that intense (match/character wise). Id say try n make it rough edged, jagged edged and more "torn" up, give it a real ragged look. Otherwise the e-fed will be considered too soft, from looking at the logo.
