This thread is basically about Wrestlers who you could have made it in MMA and UFC.

In no specific order....

* Undertaker- man has a lot of MMA qualities about him. Like his Boxing background and technical submissions( Gogoplata, Triangle Choke, and Dragon Sleeper )

* Kurt Angle - This guy definitely have tons of MMA potential. If he can kick ass in the Olympics with a broken Neck he definitely could've been kicking ass in the MMA world. I even remember his MMA attire he had for that one match in TNA

*Steve Blackman- The Lethal Weapon could've definitely been a Lethal Weapon in MMA. He even went at it with Ken Shamrock in a MMA style match. I believe this guy could have been legit MMA fighter.

*Meng/Haku- With This guy being a WW3 Secret Weapon, he'd definitely would have been MMA and/or UFC champ in a year. He was one of if not the toughest guys in Wrestling. It would be interesting to see him bring his style of Sumo to a place like UFC. Along with Sumo he's got many other martial arts techniques that could have skyrocket-ed him to the top of MMA.

Those are my choices so far, what are yours

I would say...

* Matt Bloom - he was solidly built, he was very tough and could use his strength in very potent ways at the right time during his matches. With stamina building excersises and a little impact training, he could´ve been the Big Van Vader of MMA in terms of endurance and power. His takedowns would have been very potent and if they were executed at the right times in his fights, they´d have overpowered his opponents.

* Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow - The Beast from the East had a work ethic that very few could match in his time. He could put up with the traveling and the schedule without breaking a sweat. If he´d lost weight and built more muscle, Bam Bam could have used his natural gift for athletics to build a great repitoire of kicks, which, with the right timing, would have certainly been knockout moves.

* Ray Traylor - his unique hand strikes could have been incorporated into an MMA moveset and created a flare for the dramatic, as well as put his foes on the loosing end of the stick. He´d also have had to loose weight, but with more agility added to his dogged determination, Ray Traylor would´ve benn a hard nut to crack and definetely a serious threat to any MMA champion.

* Randy Orton - height and a well tonned body are the hallmarks of any MMA fighter. Randy Orton has both in abundance and if he´d been trained in MMA, he would´ve learned how to use them to put on great displays of athleticism that would´ve made him a force to be reckoned with. His natural ability to propel himself off the ground could have been turned into a fierce ability to take his opponents off their feet.

None who don’t have any experience in any forms of fighting. Idc how anyone looks, or how tough they think they are, try getting hit in the face a few times, or put in a choke and see how tough you are. Very few WWE stars, or people, could make it in UFC. I’ve done MMA for 10 years and it’s not easy. I’ve also tried pro wrestling. With that being said, as hard as pro wrestling can be and painful, nearly every pro wrestler has no idea what it’s like to actually fight a lot or what it takes to get your ass truly beaten and keep going. Not to say all wrestlers are like this, but the point is that unless they have some sort of background, none would survive if you ask me.

I started doing wrestling when I was 8 till about 16 years old, started boxing when I was 12, jiu jitsu when I was 13, and then did more freestyle MMA from about 15 to 25. I stopped though off and on, had 5 surgeries. I got tired of getting hurt and didn’t pursue it, so I do it more cardio and maintenance now, so I can still fight if needed.

I mainly weightlift now.

Awesome, My father has a background in Amateur Boxing. He was the first person to teach me to fight with Technique. I've be practicing and training on and off.

He say I might can do it if I try hard enough. Due to the fact that I am considered a fast fighter by many and I am a Southpaw.

You sound like you can kill Bob Sapp(anyone can tho)

That’s awesome.

Southpaw can throw people off, which is good, so take advantage of it. Give it all a shot.

Lol bob sapp... yeah I would beat his ass because he has 0 ground game. I’d have him on his back in about 3 seconds.

CM Punk, I’ve always seriously wanted to really fight him. Like whoop his ass just once and teach him a thing or 2, guarantee I still could right now with little prep.

It's not just that Sapp has 0 ground game he made up his sloppy NFL MMA style of fighting. That style is so sloppy Lightweights can kick his big ass . And that Stupid Bastard had the nerve to challenge Mike Tyson.

I'd love to see CM Punk catch an ass whooping. But you got to watch the feet grabbing the Cage so he won't squirm out.

Taz - never judge anyone by their size. His throws would have made a spectacular display that would have dazzled the crowds. His rugged build and fierce attitude would have allowed him to duke it out with just about anyone and given enough experience, he would be as feared as he was in ECW.

Goldberg - In WCW, he was a charging bull. In MMA, with a little retraining, he´d be a great MMA fighter. He already knew some good kicks and if he put them into use, they´d be exciting to watch. Also, if turned into a proper MMA technique, his spear could make a full transition into the sport and hit his opponents as hard as his in WCW were.
