WrestleMania XXV Stadium Damaged By Hurricane Ike

Hurricane Ike has caused damage to the Reliant Stadium, which is where WrestleMania XXV will be hosted. Sunday’s NFL game between the Texans and Baltimore Ravens has been cancelled. "The facility will not be usable," Sherry Guinn, president of SMG said. "There's some structural damage to the roof. Part of it is off."

WWE announced earlier this week that the on-sale for WrestleMania has been postponed until October 11, 2008 due to Hurricane Ike's expected effect on the local area.

The Texans will get it rebuilt before Wrestlemania definately. They need it for their home games, and quick. I don't think it'll affect WWE in any way.

Well Reliant Stadium is getting repaired and yeah, the Texans have to play their Home Games there too...
They should be patting themselves on their backs that they didn't leave the roof open while the Hurricane came in lol

This should have happened a day before the actual WrestleMania event, damn the hurricane arrived so early and spoiled half the fun..

lol yea I won'der what the wwe would do if the hurricane came like a few nights before the event ... woudl Vince have to quickly call up another event that is really bad and run down and is not booked in advance already on such short notice?

The WWE always have a backup arena for their PPV's, especially WrestleMania.

I'm sure they'll get it repaired by the time Wrestlemania rolls around, but damn. This Hurricane must of been a big one. I can't believe it actually ripped parts of the roof off!
