Ok so if this topic has already been discussed then someone close it please.

Anyway, correct me if I am wrong but after WM XX which was HHH,HBK, and Benoit WWE seems to be having alot of Triple Threat Title matches at Mania now, I could be wrong but I don't remember to many of them especially back to back until WM XX so the question is are you getting tired of it? or do you like all of these Triple Threat matches?. I for one think it's getting old.

I think Triple Threats at Mania suck total nuts unless it's a ladder match or something like that. The main event at Wrestlemania should never EVER be a triple threat. It cannot put a superstar over properly compared to a one on one match. I never did like Benoit vs. HHH vs. HBK and I really wasn't into HHH vs. RKO vs. Cena except Cena's entrance was badass.

I feel the same altho I actually did LOVE HHH, HBK, and Benoit. I don't feel there should be Triple Threats for titles at WM unless it's very rare or like you said XBA another stip to go along with it. There have just been to many recently.

Triple threats are always a great way to pass the title between two people without making the champ look weak via pinfall. I've got no problem with them using this to set up feuds or spice up a mid-year PPV. However, I really don't think that Mania is the time or the place for them to occur....not in the main event slot anyway. I'm always a fan of a feud coming to a head at Mania between two people, and just seeing an incredible match. There's no need usually to cram a third man in there. I did however think it worked fairly well last year with Cena/Orton/HHH. However, this years insertion of the Big Show into the WHC match is just horrible.

I think a triple threats for the Women's title are good matches for WrestleMania. WrestleMania X-8 and XIX had them and those were pretty good matches if I remember correctly, it showcases more Divas at Mania without making it a gay ass LumberJill match or w/e they call it.

I think it's good, who wants to see a card that consists of 12 singles matches? There's almost never a tag match and aside from MITB, all Wrestlemania encounters are usually one-on-one. I don't have a problem with a Triple Threat.

I totally agree. The triple threats (usually) are a cheap way of having a match, without puitting in effort for the storyline. Wrestlemania usually has one of their world title matches that has an amazing storyline, and a backstory, which makes it better, and the other world title is just a lame triple threat. Like I said, it seems like a cheap way to get away with no backstory.

However, for this years triple threat, I don't mind it. They actually put effort into it, to make it have a storyline, even if it is a 3 way.

I think the only good one has been HHH V HBK V Benoit. It was the 'first ever' triple threat main event match at Mania (or so I believe) for the World Title in the ME slot, and really just added to the hype of the match. Here you had Benoit, who was coming from the other show in between two guys who had a heated rivalry. The thing was built up fairly nicely (imo) because you had that background between HHH/HBK and slid Benoit into the mix.

Benoit didn't seem to lose any momentum from his win, as it was a big time match and he ended up making Triple H tap out (which was a first in it's own right, as well). So there really wasn't any lost momentum between the Rumble winner, and the champion still 'put over' Benoit.

Look at though, Rey/Angle/Orton - this one was poorly done. Putting aside the ENTIRE Mysterio "build" going into WM22, this match was awful! You had a champion, Angle, who was too good at the time for both men, and then you had Orton who was clearly supposed to have won the rumble that year, and a 'charity case' of Mysterio. The build was no of Main Event status, but instead that of a poorly written soap opera (and I mean that as if it were worse than some of WWE's usual crap).

The match was even worse! It was a god damn cruiserweight match filled with 'spots' like a double german suplex and what not, and resembled nothing of a WHC Match (lasting only 10ish minutes). That, and they completely disregarded the stipulations of an actual triple threat (apparently there WERE DQ in this match?...). To top this all off, they had Mysterio pin Orton to win the title - the first man obviously to win the title without pinning the champion! A poor, poor excuse for a triple threat match.

WM24 - Cena/HHH/RKO was a solid match. Good build to it all, especially with Cena being the rumble winner and HHH winning the title match. The match was good as well, but was a wee bit short in it's own right. Possibly the only semi decent follow up triple threat match since WM20. Again though, this one seemed too quick and had a few too many 'spots' for the guys involved.

I fear this years triple threat will be the same - they'll use show for some big spots, and will focus on it being a spotfest more than what it should be - a triple threat. They won't push this match like the Benoit/HHH/HBK match, push the superstars for that (imo) preferred 'gruelling match', instead they'll shorten it and put in some cool tricks with Show. As good as this will be to watch, it won't be a 'classic', and that's what I'd prefer to see...
