Let a complete stranger into your car if he/she said they needed a ride somewhere? I would never only because of what movies have showed me.

I know it may seem messed up and inconsiderate, but I wouldn't be trying to jeopardize my life over being the kinder person in the situation and having it backfire because I gave them a ride.

No simply because I would totally understand if someone didn't want to give me a ride and wouldn't really want one cause you never know you could be getting into the car with or letting in your car.

I've been in situations where it would have been ideal for me to catch a ride but i've never attempted it. Personally i wouldn't let a stranger in my car and lets be honest, Your fate is hanging in the balance if your the driver or the passenger.

I would be very hesitant to let a strange into my car. I think that I would base it on how they are dressed and if they look dangerous or if they look like an honest person. It would also depend on why they want a lift and where they want to go. If they broke down I would let them use my phone but that would be it. If they wanted to head out into a deserted area then I would keep driving whereas somewhere in a busy place wouldn't be as bad.

I've given random people rides before, but I've also passed up people or denied them in the same situation. To be honest, I based wheter or not I would do it depending on appearance, I've passed up scary looking crackheads, dudes that looked like they where drunk.

I don't usually come across people needing rides.

There was this one time that my Brother was driving this van and he stopped at a stop sign and there was this homeless man was outside where I opened the sliding side door and told him to hop in as my Brother drove away. For whatever stupid reason my Brother drove around the block again and the guy was still waiting thinking we'd let him again. I'd understand the second go around more if my Brother wasn't so pissed off at me afterwards.

I would pick up a random stranger hitch hiking, since I know what it feels like to not be picked up by people in the harsh cold canadian winters.
