People like to talk about and fantasy book the WWF vs WCW "Invasion" angle. Most say it was a failure due to the fact that the majority of WCWs roster wasnt involved, becuz most were sitting at home, still under contract and getting paid by Time Warner. But, if circumstances were different, and Vince had control over the entire WCW contract, would the angle even of worked? I say this because of all of the egos that would be in the room between the WWF and WCW top guys. Would WCW top talent be ok with WWF going over? Logic says that the NWO would play a prominent role in the invasion. How would Hogans behavior be in this situation? Would he have to deflect WCW and join WWF so he could go over? This is at a point where wrestling politics were still very high, and also played a part in WCWs demise.

They wouldn't have let the WCW guys go over, so it would have been predictable and boring

Of course it would but Vince is too much of an ego to even let WCW have somewhat of an advantage for a short period of time before the WWE guys get their big win
