Does anyone else agree as the title says, I mean in the old days we have TLC matches for them with E & C, Dudleys and the Hardyz, now we have special online matches for number one contender spots and the titles
are rarely defended at ppvs.

I'm being honest and saying the only 2 decent tags teams around are Cade/Murdoch - which i think will split so Cade gets his push and Londrick.

Thoughts please?

I think the reason tag teams were pushed more back then, was because there were just more good tag teams then there are now. Plus, back then, there were way more tag teams than there was singles competitors. These days, it's the exact opposite. We have tons of singles competitors, and hardly any decent tag teams at all. I would like to see the tag team division pushed, however, without any people with any tag team experience, and without the WWE willing to put any of their potential " next big thing " singles competitors into a tag team, I doubt we will see a revival of the times when the tag team titles were just as important as the WWE and Heavyweight championships are. Same goes for the Cruiserweight division.

All the titles are devalued, partly due to talent, partly due to booking. Its tough to really say the tag crop now won't become great one day. John Morrison is one guy who can become great. There Duece, who can become a star. Cody Rhodes, whos knows, you kinda got to wait and see.

There are plenty of decent tag teams, there just isn't enough time because Vince has been pushing singles competition in an attempt find the next big star.

I like what they are doing with Rhodes now, by basically starting him off in a tag team. But why with Bob Holly? Put him with a veteren that won't try to hog the spotlight, or with a younger guy and see how far they can take take it.

The worst thing about Holly/Rhodes is that you know there is going to be a breakup in like a month. You can just tell Rhodes is going to turn heel.

^^maybe maybe not....the potential of the teams is there....but what we need is not more teams but for these teams to have a bigger push the teams are there they just need to be pushed....better or booked better

The tag titles are devalued at the moment...

The Miz and Morrison = Lawl.

Cade and Murdoch... They don't even get a crowd reaction. In EVERY match... They suck period.

its annoying that good tag teams have either been split or shit ! lol, where have Benjamin and Haas gone? as ppl say vince is looking fior the next star, at the moment there is the like of Deuce, Cody Rhodes, and others, tag team needs to come back, Jesse and Festus SUCK! what a crappy gimmick, Deuce and domino look promising though, and another good one for the fututre in Benjamin if he sticks around !

I rarely see good tag matches in WWE. They come off predictable more than in 1995. I couldn't tell you if I've seen a good tag match this year for WWE or TNA for that matter. So I guess the tag titles are devalued

God, I wish the Tag Division was just like it was in 02-04...we had solid tag teams like Jindrak/Cade, Billy/Chuck, Dudleyz before they got old...er, RVD/Booker, Kidman/London, Team Angle, Benoit/Angle, Edge/Mysterio, Guerreros, Benoit/Rhyno, and La Resistance....all those great tag teams, now we're stuck with shitty tag teams.
