Working on Christmas

Apparently RAW is going to live on Christmas night as well as New Year's Day. This basically means that all the people who work in ring as well as the camera men/women, the refs, and everyone else part of the crew will not be spending time with their families on either days.

I know this is a "RAW topic" but seeing as it is quite some time yet till Christmas, I thought I would stick it in the general discussion.

What are your thoughts on this? Them having a live special on Christmas Day? Should it have been done another day and taped?

I have a feeling that on Christmas Eve, Vince will be visited by the Ghost of his father. He will talk about how he lost sight of the true meaning of Christmas and wrestling and that he will be visited three times more that night. These ghosts will show him how Christmas and wrestling used to be in the past, with the territories and how he was splitting them apart for selfish reasons. Then the ghost of Christmas wrestling Present, where he will see disgruntled superstars complain about injuries, lack of character direction, freedom, and the fact they will be away from family for the holidays. Lastly...will be a hooded figure...THE GHOST OF THE UNDERTAKER/CHRISTMAS WRESTLING FUTURE! There, he will be seen the future, where WWE is crushed by UFC and he will see his grave...and the grave for WWE on Christmas with no visitors...With his tombstone reading "Maybe WWE will be better off when Vince McMahon is dead" then the WWE one reading "Then it was taken over by his idiotic daughter and doofus son-in-law..."

Then Vince will finally change for the better and discover the true meaning of Christmas and wrestling.

I wouldn't mind if it's taped, but I don't think it's too bad. Maybe people who are married or have kids like Cena and O'Niel will get the day off while people who are single like Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman will carry the show. Hell, people like Miz, Ambrose, and Wyatt could be there since their wife/girlfriend also are on Raw

I think it sucks most for kids who have parents who have to work that day. It isn't just the wrestlers, consider the crew too.

I am just shocked. Like you would think they would maybe have the actual show that Saturday and tape it, then air the taped version. They did this with SmackDown for years, though it was a different network I believe. What is going to suck is ticket sales. Like if people actually do buy tickets and they decide to change the day on people.
