It came off after Under Siege that Eddie Edwards would get the first Impact World Title shot against Omega. Right now it looks like Moose is either close to agreeing to sign a new deal or has already done so. This changes the dynamic of Moose vs Omega at Against All Odds from when it was felt it would be Moose's last big match in the company, So it could Omega vs Moose at Slammiversary.

Awesome to hear that because for all the people they have lost over 2020 and 2021 to AEW and WWE you can't lose another damn good talent and not expect to get hit by it eventually.

Guess Moose is content being the big fish in a small pond. Nothing wrong with it...

But I would’ve loved to have seen a big hoss fight between Moose and Kross

I’m sure they had one in Impact in 2017-2018 but never under the NXT banner

Yeah gotta say I'm shocked. As a wrestling fan I'm def happy bc Impact is on a roll rn but losing a big name like him would have really hurt. The "middle" companies of Impact, MLW, and to a lesser extent ROH and NWA are doing real good shit rn but are all just like one or two people leaving away from being shit :lol

I mean that's a fair point for sure, and I'd even argue that MLW has a top heavier (muertes, hammerstone, fatu) than impact ? I agree that losing Moose would have left their main event scene bare bones a.f with basically calihan, swann (lol) and that club med mohawk motherfucker edwards

edit: basically, this would have been almost as bad as if NWA lost their golden boy

Moose is now denying it on twitter, which obviously, to me, means it's 100% true :heston

@KIF Moose ain't winning this PPV. Slammiversary though? Most likely. Kenny ain't dropping the belt on a b-ppv before DoN, just not happening.

Moose and Impact and married for a few more years now it's time to give him the strap if not at Against All Odds why not make a rematch because of a fluky finish at Slammiversary right.

thats my guess.

omega wins this match, probably due to fuckery + sami calihan tries to fuck over kenny but fucks over moose instead by accident. mini feud with moose/sami or sami/kenny, then have the rematch at slammiversary and kenny can drop the belt then (or have the sami match there, built up the feud, and have moose take it off omega at the end of 2021 ppv ). Then Moose gets a long ass reign of his own, he's earned it.
