Why hasn't this happened yet? I'm pretty sure some of us have female caws on the PS4 side of things. It doesn't have to be a giant new show, it could just be a simple adding of a woman's division(ala Spark). Let me know your thoughts and opinions about this idea/situation on this thread.

To be quite honest, I don't really see the point. I'm as big a fan of women's wrestling as anyone but in the game women's matches just aren't that good. Plus, I feel like if we were going to encourage people to get a second character, we should be stacking the tag division, which is currently pretty dead. I'd much prefer a great tag division and maybe one less singles title, then have all titles really active, than introduce another division with the league's SIXTH title. That's ridiculous with the membership number we have.

So I ask: what's the point of a women's division, and why shouldn't we improve the tag division instead?

Ivy Hale doesn't descriminate between gender, she can choke anyone out.

I don't have the PS4 so I no can compete.

But, while I can admit the Women's division on X-Box has done well, it may be better to see if the Tag Division can get a shot of life before you would bring it in.

Edit: like maybe after 2k17 is up, bring it up in discussion, see if there is interest for one division over the other.

Yeah, this I completely agree with.

Alright, I've come to a decision on things.

We're making the Tag Division great again! (If it ever was.)

I recommend everyone create a secondary character that they will use in a tag team (you don't have to, but it would be nice) of course you'll need to find someone to team with and... yeah, me and Hoov are gonna have some new competition.

OOC thread this. I'm heading to exam period, so for now it's a no for me. But before the end of the league that'll change

Guys the thing with the tag division is the meetup time. 4 people have to simultaneously have similar schedules, and decent internet connection. One on one women's matches are simple, and to the point.

So precision is sexist, I see. /s
Edit: Tags barely work in the game anyway.

Tbh I do see the thing with the tag division too, which is why I was against that when it came in too (maybe I just don't like change... xD). But if I had to choose between that and women's, I'd still pick tag. It's much better in terms of actual fun in the matches, and in terms of characters. I haven't looked at Spark but I'd guess the characters aren't as deep as for the men's.

Thoughts on retiring both ideas, then? I mean... we have four singles belts, you guys. If we want all of them to have 3-4 guys going after them, that's the whole league (if you don't allow second characters). I didn't like the Precision Title when it was brought in (I mean I like it now that I've won it, lol, but wouldn't be against unification in future) because it was an unnecessary new belt, but now that that's in I'd say we need to not bring in anything else new.

But I just had a really cool idea for tag stuff!

If anyone watches New Japan (I don't, but I'm aware of this) they have a massive tag team tournament (along with five other tourneys, but I'm not suggesting that lmao) every year. Why don't we do that? Call it eight teams, people can do double duty and/or have two characters to participate, and the winners both get singles title shots? That'd be unique and mean we don't have to have constantly defended tag belts. We do the tournament every year, maybe? Or twice a year?

Edit: If there aren't enough established teams then we have a random draw that throws random teams together, so we could get heel/face teams that hate each other, or otherwise mismatched teams that end up working out. I think it'd be great.

I will probably do this, with both winners facing each other. The winner gets a world title shot and the loser gets an IC title shot.

That works. Maybe for the end of this league, since we have the Gauntlet of Champions next PPV.

We still need to work out what that even is btw, since at one point it was a gamble where it could be anything: nothing, survival title, IC title, World title, some weird random thing that made story sense. It was similar to how a Unique Opportunity is in Lucha Underground, where noone knows what they're fighting for until they (in this case, not in LU) open the briefcase (Unique Opportunities have ranged from WM equivalent title shots to just money to all sorts of wacky shit). I don't like that system personally because it doesn't make people want to win if they don't know what they win. It could be made like MITB, where you can cash in a title shot anytime, but that leaves the question of what to do with MITB, since multiman ladder matches are great when they work.

Anyone got ideas for that?

Lol I literally pitched a similar idea to Kangsahnic. Great idea man.
