Tbh I do see the thing with the tag division too, which is why I was against that when it came in too (maybe I just don't like change... xD). But if I had to choose between that and women's, I'd still pick tag. It's much better in terms of actual fun in the matches, and in terms of characters. I haven't looked at Spark but I'd guess the characters aren't as deep as for the men's.
Thoughts on retiring both ideas, then? I mean... we have four singles belts, you guys. If we want all of them to have 3-4 guys going after them, that's the whole league (if you don't allow second characters). I didn't like the Precision Title when it was brought in (I mean I like it now that I've won it, lol, but wouldn't be against unification in future) because it was an unnecessary new belt, but now that that's in I'd say we need to not bring in anything else new.
But I just had a really cool idea for tag stuff!
If anyone watches New Japan (I don't, but I'm aware of this) they have a massive tag team tournament (along with five other tourneys, but I'm not suggesting that lmao) every year. Why don't we do that? Call it eight teams, people can do double duty and/or have two characters to participate, and the winners both get singles title shots? That'd be unique and mean we don't have to have constantly defended tag belts. We do the tournament every year, maybe? Or twice a year?
Edit: If there aren't enough established teams then we have a random draw that throws random teams together, so we could get heel/face teams that hate each other, or otherwise mismatched teams that end up working out. I think it'd be great.
