- Jake M. sent the following: Hey here in San Diego, an ad aired on TV last night for No Mercy that still advertised Batista vs. The Undertaker as the SmackDown main event. Obviously WWE hasn't updated their TV ads.
- To update on the Undertaker/Sara rumor I posted yesterday, several of you sent word that Michelle McCool is married, which doesn't really confirm anything. SkaterPrincess56 says she has seen both Michelle and The Undertaker flying back to Texas together twice since the supposed split with girlfriend Sara. Also, Francisco Cartagena sent word that 'Taker and McCool arrived at the recent SmackDown/ECW house show together.
Furthermore, Arthur Imperial sent the photo below, that he says he took at a jewelry store in Texas. I tried not to get in their way, it was quite shocking catching them in the store. Nice people.
I had to shrink the photo to fit in this post, but in the enlarged version I was originally sent, you can clearly see it is Michelle.

In attempt to get more buys for pay-per-view events it looks like WWE will hold Edge’s return for the Survivor Series pay-per-view next month. Survivor Series will take place on November 18, 2007 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.
Edge will join Rey Mysterio, Triple H, Undertaker, and reportedly Chris Jericho (if he returns Sunday at No Mercy) as WWE stars that have returned on pay-per-view rather than on free television.

There is a brief interview with former WWE Diva Lisa "Ivory" Moretti in the latest issue of Pro Wrestling Illustrated where they ask her about random things. In the interview, Moretti takes a shot at WWE when asked about the last movie she saw that made her want a refund: Q: What's the last movie you saw that made you want to demand a refund? A: With Netflix, I always pick good movies. I can say that whenever I watch Raw it makes my guts churn. It makes me feel sad and embarrassed. It's a shame what is has become.
Yahoo! Sports has an article on WWE Tough Enough 4 champion Daniel Puder and his present-day MMA exploits. In the article, he briefly talks about his career as a professional wrestler in Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2005, or rather, their fans. Puder said, "I was in OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling). And we had this one town in Kentucky we went to every week, it was basically an old barn. There were the same 20 people there every time, they all looked the same, they all had maybe three teeth each, and they all had the same name. Finally one night I walked in and saw all the inbreds and thought to myself 'What am I doing with my life?'"

The former Johnny Stamboli is available for bookings as his new character, REDRUM. If interested, REDRUM charges $500 per match plus trans. If you are serious about booking REDRUM, please e-mail bull711@hotmail.com. His former tag team partner Big Vito is also available for bookings at VitoBookings@Yahoo.com.
Former WWF Champion Bruno Sammartino was one of the 500 or so ex-performers to receive a letter from Vince McMahon offering to pay for rehab. When he received the letter, apparently he went ballistic. Sammartino was under contract to WWE in the 80s, so he would be on file with them. Sammartino was mad enough about the letter that he nearly called a press conference.
Stacy Keibler has a cameo in an upcoming movie called The Comebacks. The movie stars David Koechner as an out-of-luck coach who takes a bunch of college misfits and drives them towards the football championships.

-- WWE is now selling an inflatable Ken Kennedy microphone.
-- Dwayne “The Rock’ Johnson and his wife Dani announced yesterday that they donated $1 million to the University of Miami’s Football Facilities Renovation Fund.
-- It was confirmed on last night’s edition of ECW on Sci Fi that Big V will face off against CM Punk this Sunday at the WWE No Mercy Pay-per view. Big V advanced in the tournament after defeating Tommy Dreamer.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Shawn Michaels has been telling Triple H that he is on the fence about returning and really doesn't know how much wrestling he wants to do. He said his family is his top priority, his knees are in bad shape, and is devoting more of his time to religion, which is his passion right now.
Triple H has been trying to convince Michaels to return to television, even though he isn't ready to wrestle, due to a lack of depth on the roster. HBK hasn't opted for it.
It appears a key issue in the possible return of Shawn Michaels to WWE will be if he can secure a reduced travel schedule.

There were several incidents which lead to The Sandman’s firing. In early September on a flight during WWE’s African tour, Sandman and some other wrestlers got drunk prior to takeoff and had a yelling match with Ricky Steamboat over smoking on the plane. Later on, due to time constraints a few wrestlers were pulled from a show and Sandman was one of them. Sandman thought this was Steamboat’s way of getting revenge. A few days later, he called John Laurinaitis and requested his release. His release was granted despite Vince McMahon being a fan of his character.
Sandman sold one of his construction companies a few years back and is financially in a good situation where he doesn’t need WWE’s paychecks.

- Mike K. sent the following: There was a report that 8.2.11 stood for HBK as those are the numbers of the respective letters. However, in the Bible, the book of Joshua is where Jericho is discussed. In my Bible, in the 8th chapter, 2nd verse, "Jericho" is the 13th word. Not quite 11 but it could easily be the 11th word in another translation. Just thought I'd point that out.
- Aaron M. sent the following: It's probably nothing to get our hopes up over, but in the Special Issue: 2007 Fall Preview WWE Magazine (Yellow CM Punk Cover),on page 8 on the side column introducing CM Punk,it says " "We break down the walls to unravel the backstory of this seasons hottest rising talent. The Straight Edge Superstar." Just thought that might be interesting to share with the fans because I find "Break Down The Walls" a strange choice of words to use on CM Punk.
- rcn3384 sent the following: Regarding your post about the new video being related to HBK with the numbers and all, it also says "GRANDSLAM" in the video, and Michaels was the first-ever Grand Slam Champion, capturing the European Championship once, the World Tag Team Championship four times, the Intercontinental Championship three times and the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships a total of four times, I believe. Jericho was also the 4th ever WWE Grandslam winner.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Congress has sent out letters to at least some wrestlers requesting to talk with them.
As of right now the exact nature is not known, but one of the industry’s biggest mainstream stars, whose name has been linked to steroids in the past, but not in the Signature case, was sent a letter. The letter indicated that the Superstar should be alert, as he could be asked to testify.
