With the rumors and teasings of most of the WWE/WCW Veterans in TNA leaving by next year, do you think TNA will still be able to compete with WWE?

Personally I think TNA will be better with these guys gone. I've already stated in another topic that I'd rather TNA pick up guys from WWE that never got big and make stars out of them like Matt Morgan, Burke, many of the Knockouts. Hell TNA's top guys, AJ Styles, Daniels, and Joe, all tried to wrestle for the WWF before going to TNA and look where they're at now.

I do think in a way it will hurt TNA to loose Kurt Angle, but at the same time that leaves the door open to push someone new. It's only a matter of time before Ken Anderson (Mr. Kennedy) joins TNA so that will either help or hurt TNA.

I like this new direction they are going in and I don't think they ever need to go WCW again with bringing in WWE guys and pushing them to the top.

How they are handling Bobby Lashley and Tara are perfect. TNA makes sure that everyone knows these two are former champions and veterans but they're not pushing them to Main Event status while still keeping them in interesting storylines. So their precense helps TNA but also doesn't hold anyone else back.

The only problem I see with whenever the veterans leave is that it's gonna be really difficult for the fans to buy most of the young talent as main event stars. But that's only because most of them have been getting buried for the past 2 years.

I think guys like Booker, Steiner, 3D, and Rhyno are taking up spots that young guys could run with. The fact that MCMG are never wrestling is absurd. People like Angle and Sting actually let the younger guys benefit. The Matt Morgans and AJ Styles of the world need a vet to feud with and put them over, I feel both will happen.

Once some of the older guys leave I think the chosen young main events will be established and they should push along smoothly. The main event in TNA has potential to be great in a year or two's time. Styles, Morgan, Hernandez, Joe (the good version), EY, most likely Robert Roode. TNA has a gold mine in young talent, not as much as the WWE but still enough to help them put out a good product.

Another thing I want to get off my chest about TNA is they made TNA Womens Tag Titles before making an X-Divison set. Think about it, MCMG, Letahl Consequences alone could make that division worth watching, throw in the WE and a few others and that would be a division to watch. Too bad they treat the normal X Title like shit.

I think they do have enough tag teams to make X Division Tag Titles, but as you mentioned last, I think they should get the X Title back to actually being worth something before they tried pushing X Tag Titles and just put tag teams into their own story lines while two or three teams battle for the titles then switch teams out.

With the current way that TNA are doing things now, they shouldn't be in much trouble when most of the vets leave. They have the vets going up against the younger guys. And I'm hoping that at BFG, they'll be more young guys going over than the older one's.

TNA has too many titles and not as many guys on the roster. I find it funny u say TNA vets i think of Daniels, Styles, and Sabin. I always though tna would do better if they pushed their own guys anyway. They need a roster explosin though

I actually think it's goingto hurt the product without guys like Sting, Angle, Booker. Like them or not, you need some established veterns and already made stars. Spiral Shock made a good point about the fans buying certain wrestlers as main event talent. A problem i foresee is mic skills of some of these main eventers. They don't have the best mic workers in the game with the talent they are grooming, I think that could hurt them in 2010. I think TNA has a deep enough roster to where it's not a BIG red flag. I think TNA can lose Sting, almost without a beat. But then when you add in Angle and Booker thats a bigger blow. Booker not so much, but Kurt Angle has been their cornerstone the past 3 years. Another thing that has hurt was their handling with Samoa Joe. He was a top guy there, now it seems like he's mid-card. Double J did make a good point about new guys coming in Mr. Kennedy, Lashley, Elijah Burke. They can certainly build around those guys, it's just a matter of doing so in the right way. I think TNA is also going to bring in a few familar indy guys, as well to work them up. All in all, i dont see how losing those guys, and using guys like Morgan/Young/Hernandez as main event guys will help sell the product. They gotta use some of the former WWE guys.
