I wouldn't bet on Goldberg being booed out of the building because of the whole nostalgia thing, but...

Your reason #1 is valid. The match might be just as bad as the first one, and if that turns out to be the case, then they both might get booed.

As far as your other reasons are concerned, what you're saying is... this match shouldn't be happening in Canada? :heenan:

I mean, seriously... They positioned Brock as a heel in his hometown and now the PPV's being held in Canada where he resides and if they're expecting him to get booed, then they're silly.

I'm now saying this match should not happen in Canada. I'm just making the point that it is and I'm expecting a tough crowd for Goldberg. I think mainly because they are gonna have a similar type of match that they did at wmXX but then the Canadians are gonna take it out on Goldberg mainly lol

Going to be tough for Goldberg to get his cheers on especially with the beast incarnate repping his current living situation.. BUT I can totally see it happening due to the same reason @Prince Bálor mentioned in regards to nostalgic value.

That bit about the match not happening in Canada was a joke, homie.

But yeah, it doesn't really seem to favor Goldberg. But, we may be wrong.

IDGAF about the match, honestly and I won't care if it sucks. All I want is for Lesnar to win and that's it.

Fuuuuuck that. I can't see him being booed out of the arena. No way. Unless like was said, if it's a boring match. I know I'll be pumped for it. I'm going to get the goldberg chant going right away

Man I just want to stay optimistic for this match.

I'm sure they know their last match was so bad, they HAVE to book this one atleast somewhat better.

If it truly is 'fantasy war fare come to life' then the best scenario is they both get huge pops, good match (hopefully not too long though), and a standing ovation at the end lol.

Now I realize that it'll be far from perfect, but I just hope to God I can be in attendance of a good classic match up. A throwback to my childhood years.

It would be awesome if they actually put on a great match...
but with Glodberg having ring rust and Bork La$er being
a lazy suplex machine...I just don't see it happening.

To be fair, unlike most Canadians, Brock said some bad stuff about homosexuals(which we Canadians are very open minded people to the point where it is a stereotype), and he is more a tenant to us. We're letting him stay here, lol.

But we Canadians are loonie (hence why we have a dollar coin named after that). So I think they would boo Goldberg just to be "different."

The crowd is gonna be 50/50. No one gives a shit about what happened in the past.

Will he be? Most likely yes, most likely this crowd will be bored too with this match. They are going to see this as "same old shit" like any other clash of titans match. I wouldn't be surprised with any crowd reaction at this point.

My mate is Canadian (not Beaver btw) and going to Survivor Series, and his exact words to me were "If I'm not drunk, you're damn right I'm booing Goldberg."

I was so confused about the Bret Hart part btw, because I didn't even know people really still cared about him, but believe it or not I just messaged him why he would boo Goldberg and his reason was in fact Bret Hart

Goldberg got a real solid reaction tonight but I still have my doubts for Sunday!
