Fandango seems to have blown up these past few months.
His popularity seems to have taken off quite a bit since wrestling mania. Will it last?

I doubt it.

Post-Mania Raw was filled with genuine interest in Fandango, but now it's just seems really forced.

I kind of feel the same way. Like it caught fire so they are throwing too much wood on it.

Sadly, I see it dying down by SummerSlam or the fall.

If they put him against the right people I can see him staying relevant but at this point, i see him fading into the background soon.

Naw, WWE is forcing his song down our throats now and ruining it. If WWE would have let it be a fan thing, I'm sure it would last a little longer, but it's getting slower in my opinion. In the wrestler in general, I'm sure if he stays in good feuds and maybe capture a title, then he'll most likely hold a good amount of that popularity and whatnot.

Nope. Was just a hot crowd that made this happen, but there aren't many crowds like that. He isn't like a Bryan who could easily use the momentum to push himself into one of the most over stars on the roster, because Fandango simply isn't good enough for that.

I agree.

It'll probably be something similar to Brodus Clay. I remember it being charming the first few times, but then it got really annoying and now no one gives a shit about him.

I do like Fandango though. Just don't like E already trying to overkill this "fandangoing" crap.

Well, no. But they could've used this to propel him into good feuds/booking (not saying his hasn't been so far) and the starting boost would be pretty useful. But that would happen if they booked it correctly. But on its own, no, and WWE overkilling stuff as usual doesn't help.
