Why Triple H is pushing The Wyatt Family

- The Wyatt Family is a major Triple H project right now and the feeling is that they’re getting ready for a big push, in a sense they’re being groomed for The Shield’s spot. There is a lot of talk about The Shield being moved down. With recent Triple H projects like Kharma and Sin Cara bombing, he’s likely going to go hard with The Wyatts.

The Shield "going down"? What does that even mean? If they're being pushed down the card, why? I understand they have feuded with a lot of top guys, or at least interacted with them, but why not do something legitimate and concrete? So far it's been cheap-shot attacks which result in matches against makeshift trio teams at PPV's. Why not introduce a story behind them? Or at least put the plants in place for a split.

Hopefully, this means the Shield dropping the tag straps and splitting up to feud for Ambrose's US title. It was such a bad idea to give them three belts in the first place.

Shield should split at this point, They could all do well on their own, Reigns is actually quite underrated in my opinion, Always been a fan of him, One of the good wrestlers to come out of FCW Training, Rollins is a high flying beast, He could have a great singles run. Ambrose is a god on the mic, Maybe even the best mic worker in WWE and his brawling style is good to watch. They can do better alone than together imo.

Agreed, I always thought that the 3 should have defended the tag team titles using the free bird rule until they had enough momentum/experience/whatever to let Ambrose pursue the US title and have Reigns & Rollins eventually drop the titles, embark on their own non-title feuds and then have the 3 remain as "one shield against injustice" but split up after one big Shield vs Legends feud.

I have no problem with them moving down into the mid card as long as they get programs to work down there instead of just random matches. I could see them being moved to Smackdown if the rumors of WWE wanting to raise the prestige and quality of Smackdown is true. Let them run that show and Wyatt's on RAW. The Shield can still show up on RAW but in a lesser capacity/focus.

I think the Shield has lost it's luster. They're still fine to watch and are performing well but they've lost that aura due to not doing much in a long while and just wrestling randomly. I really don't know what they mean but I think they should split.

I think Roman Reigns is highly underrated. I believe Roman Reigns has a huge future in the WWE, he's certainly fits the Vince McMahon's 'ideal wrestler', got the marketable look, wrestling ability and is somewhat decent on the mic.

All three of them are great talent and have a very, very bright future in the business.

As everyone said above, I too am sure if the Shield splits, each member will do fine on their own. They have kind of lost the magic they first had as a team, and I've wanted to see them fight separately for a little while now.

As for the Wyatt Family, I think the team is fantastic and will do quite well. I can tell why Triple H would want to push them.

My apologies. I thought you left out Roman Reigns because you thought he isn't in par with his fellow members, they all have their own styles and hopefully we get to see all three members succeed.

Can't wait 'till they split, imo. More solo Ambrose and Rollings segments :yay: And they're own themes. : They'll also develop their moves more because I'm honestly getting tired of their brawling style, have been for awhile. Technical wrestling (like Bryan) has always been my favorite kind of style.

To the headline: Well, that's pretty obvious why they're pushing them... but depushing the Shield? I mean, calling them lost in the shuffle, okay... but there's no reason to depush the Shield.

If nothing else, the Shield makes me worried about the Wyatt Family. The time I see a six-man I'll be scared for them. The main event is so crowded, maybe they can find someone who can get the mid-card straightened out (if it's even fixable)
