- The Wrestling Observer reports that WWE has given up on Jack Swagger’s push as he has not quite panned out as officials had thought he would.

Part of why WWE is pushing Kofi Kingston to the top if because they feel they need another African-American babyface star and they had given up on several other stars that were picked for the spot.

The other two stars who WWE have the most faith in right now are Sheamus, who is a workout partner of Triple H, and Drew McIntyre, who Triple H and Shawn Michaels have endorsed.

Incredibly obvious news, but some people still needed to be told.

I read another report that said that Jack Swagger was below Chavo Guerrero in the raw pecking order.

If there's such a thing as lower than absolute zero I think WWE just discovered it.

WWE seem to be giving up on a shitload of young midcard talent, Swagger, Ziggler, MVP and Truth by the sounds of things which sucks because Swagger, Ziggler and MVP were probably the three most promising out of the bunch imo.

I can't believe they're actually pushing Kofi just because they feel they need another top black star.

I'm happy Sheamus is getting a big push though, alot of people don't like him but I think he owns, Drew's not bad either, although I'd prefer others to be pushed ahead of him.

I doubt it's just that though. Kofi has been over since he basically came into the company. It was only a matter of time he was pushed.

According to a source, WWE has "given up" on pushing Jack Swagger to superstardom as he has not quite panned out as officials had initially hoped.

When he first showed up on the WWE scene a little over a year ago, "The All-American American" was pegged as the future of the company due to his tremendous size. Nowadays, he's considered a comedy figure ranked slightly lower than Chavo Guerrero on the RAW pecking order. Furthermore, some feel he's in danger of becoming "this year's Chris Masters."

There ya go..lol.
The guy went from an attempted undefeated streak to a comedy character ranked lower than Chavo in matter of 3 weeks. Wow.

Please don't do this to Miz...please.

No further foward to understanding WHY they went cold on him so suddenly though...

He's a comedy character cos he's a joke.

At least that's what I thought, iunno.

He's a comedy character because the way WWE pushed him after bringing him to RAW is hilarious.

...And besides, what is "this year's Chris Masters" meant to imply?

Also, why have one of their "comedy" characters beating the crap out of a genuinely over babyface (Bourne)?

lmao. What the hell is below Chavo? And where does that leave Bourne? How many times has Swagger squashed him or had pointless matches against him?
Shoulda known that he's somewhere at the bottom of the roster. The guy teamed with Chavo and Masters on RAW.

RAW's jobbers are Swagger, Chavo, Masters, Bourne, and Primo. Kinda odd seeing as though these guys have a lot of talent.

I think the main reason for Swagger not getting pushed recently is just because of his TONGUE problem. He cant have a single sentence without a mistake/error within it >_>

Haha, affirmative action is the reason Kofi Kingston is being pushed, that's hilarious.

What has WWE come to? Oh well, at least we know that they can handle a push right even if it's not for the person most people would like it to be.

I like Swagger's in ring work, he just sucks on the mic but could benefit from a manager.

Bourne has talent and could be the next Rey Mysterio, but it doesn't look like he's getting pushed at all

Masters, Chavo, and Primo are 3 guys I could care less about
