There are all kinds of groups out there that form bonds over conspiracies or lack of evidence.

Instead of allowing these people to continue to spread misinformation like the media does, why not prove things to them using hands on facts?

Like take the flat earthers for example... Instead of making fun of them, why not send their leader or the top leaders out to space to see and film for themselves? You may be wondering... "Where would we get the money for that?" well, all the people complaining about these groups can donate a few bucks and I am sure that would cover the cost. Hell, have Elon Musk host it like a show. You'd get money right there from sponsors. Imagine the trailer...

"This summer... A group of five individuals will take a journey like never before to get the facts straight once and for all. Elon Musk hosts "Are Your Smarter Than A 5th Grader: In Space?""

Well the problem with facts, is that people actually make up false facts that other people will believe.

Like a wise man named Bill once said "Read everything, listen to everybody, believe nothing unless you can prove it with your own research"

Several Flat Earthers have been offered to take a round a trip and everything, but they deny. Plus, why know the truth when you spread bs and make money.

That is something people need to do. Research. This requires you to look at things on both sides as well. Look at the side you are agreeing with but also the side that is challenging to prove you wrong.

Belief doesn't require facts.

Tell a hardcore believer they are wrong and the rationalization hamster in their brain starts spinning it's wheel to contradict you.

It's why cults exist. Also why radical religion is a thing.
