Why is Mickie James back with Alexa Bliss right now ?

I know that Mickie and Alexa were together before on Smackdown Live in 2016, then they went to RAW because of the WWE Superstar shake up in April 2017 and Mickie was out of the Women's title picture for months until late last September when Alexa Bliss got on RAW talk after No Mercy and said some disparaging remarks about her calling her old and her "time passed by a long time ago" or whatever it was she said. Then James interrupted Bliss while she was cutting a promo the next night on RAW and made her say it to her face. Then they feuded over the RAW Women's Championship for a couple of months in which Mickie called her a "biscuit butt" (whatever that means) and lost the title match at TLC until the Absolution stuff came up with Paige, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Which separated Mickie and Alexa again until last month before the Women's Elimination Chamber match when Bliss apologized for what she said about her in the past but Mickie wasn't buying it. Now they're back together again ? What the heck ?

To be honest, I'm pretty sure it's because Alicia Fox is injured. It doesn't make a lick of sense if you were following the women's division at all, even if just through cursory glances but I think the reason for aligning her with Bliss was just so she could take the fall in the six-women's. They "needed" to do the Six-woman match between Asuka, Bayley, & Sasha vs. Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, & Gets Pinned, because it allowed them to set-up Bayley's revenge on Banks (and because Bayley was nice to Asuka, it doesn't equate to a heel turn, so they can hold off on that til Mania, or have Banks turn heel [though Bayley needs it more imo]), while also continuing the feud between Asuka & Bliss/Jax, but you can't have Asuka pin Nia because she was facing her next week, and you can't have her pin Bliss because she might face her at Mania (I know, tell that to WWE in January but they don't think that far ahead if Roman Reigns isn't involved). So who is Gets Pinned? Can't be Absolution, they're a defined unit and it would make even less sense to have one of them randomly team with Bliss & Jax. Can't be Dana Brooke because she was Titus Worldwiding that night. I think if Fox was active, she might've gotten the role instead but since she's hurt and the Women's roster is paper thin, they turned Mickie heel and I guess figured no one would notice or care because Bliss was friends with her once. I mean, Nia did turn on Bliss in 2017 during the build to No Mercy for five way defense and then like a week or two later was randomly her BFF again with no explanation.

It made total sense before elimination chamber. Mickie probably felt like she needed an alliance in the match that has Absolution and Sasha and Bayley. Makes total sense. But now we need answers to why Mickie is still aligned with Bliss. Maybe it will become clear in the near future.

Its because the women's division has no depth...

If the WWE really wanted to do something interesting
they would have had Mandy & Sonya ditch Paige after
the Elimination Chamber & align with Bliss...but instead
we have Paige hanging around not being able to wrestle
while Mickie has forgotten Alexa suggested she needed
to wear depends.

Once again the women's division on both shows has
become incredibly stale & hopefully a rumored draft
with be happening at the Backlash pay per view this
year.

Although if I'm being honest...its hard for me to care
about the entire women's division at the moment.

Alexa has been over pushed to the point of ridiculousness...
Asuka has defeated everyone on RAW...and she has to keep winning...
Sasha has been booked like a complete loser always falling just short...
Bayley is a fucking blueberry who I no longer care about...
Mickie hasn't really had much to do...
Nia is boring...in & out of the ring...
Dana is...well...pointless...
Foxy is injured...
Paige is not able to compete...
&
Mandy & Sonya haven't really done anything.

And I'm not counting Ronda until she actually interacts with the
women's division...not just spends her time pissing around with
the McMahons.

On SmackDown...
Charlotte is Champion...but doesn't need to be...
Becky is underused...
Naomi has basically been forgotten about...
Carmella is a fucking jobber with a briefcase...
Natalya is fucking cringe besides when she's actually wrestling...
Tamina is injured...
Ruby is solid...
Sarah & Liv are much like Mandy & Sonya...
&
Lana...well...I don't count Lana...

I'm kind of hoping Ember Moon, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay
& Nikki Cross are all elevated to the main roster at the
Backlash draft...with all four of them ending up on
SmackDown while 3 or 4 of the current ladies are
swapped & changed about.

I'm also guessing Asuka & Charlotte will be kept on
SmackDown for a while to keep them both away from
Ronda until Survivor Series or Wrestlemania 35.

Wait...what were we talking about again?

Oh yeah...Mickie James is back with Alexa because
the writers don't give a fuck.

I think Mickie was just using Alexa for EC, and she is sticking around now because she is waiting to get her revenge. Maybe she screws Alexa out of the title at the Grandest Stage of Them All - that would be good revenge

Maybe the reason is that Mickie is secretly obsessed with Alexa. Very similar to the Mickie-Trish storyline. She always talks about her biscuit butt. I looked that up and it definitely complement lol.
