I would really like to know.
He is not relevant anymore, not that he really ever was.

I swear they got him to save money because he had already done things for them....

Let's go through the past few years...

WM 32:

WM 31

WM 30

WM 29

WM 28

WM 27

WM 26

WM 25

WM 24

Okay I will stop there... They went from Rock to rap-pop stuff. To me, rock will always suit wrestling best.

Ehh...

So yeah. Pitbull sucks. His "concert" is the official pee break of WrestleMania.

24: Great theme

25: Great:

26: I didn't mind it at all. Was great

27: eh...ok...

28: Reused from Survivor Series

29. Eww....

30: Most the themes were great, including:

and

was great for Cena vs Wyatt

31: *shrugs* It grew on me a bit over the years since, but there has been far better.

32: *fart noise*

The shift started around WM 26, and that year it was fine, but some of the choices after have been a bit hit and miss.

That said, yeah, Pitbull sucks and the theme is a shitty one.

They should learn about themes from NXT TakeOver ones.

Because he's willing to do business with them. Honestly there's no other logical reason.

WWE always has like 5 bands on retainer for appearances.

Should have used this song...

:dawg:

Yes it is very irrelevant but "Pissing the night away" somehow works for this WrestleMania

Not a fan of pitbull, he's definitely a giant turd. I think they picked his song cuz Flo Rida is on it, and they seem to always have a Flo Rida song for Mania.

I will admit the song is catchy tho...

Where yo' grandma stay.
It's supposed to be a big family friendly event the ultimate thrill ride and pop artist like pit bull and Florida fit the overall aesthetic. Plus they're fans of the product and aren't that expensive to book compared to any relevant artist I assume.

Also as someone else said. Both from Florida and big in Florida.

It's more because Vince wants WWE to be a pop culture extravaganza, while rock suits wrestling more, and that's what his dad did.

Nah...they already "used" it on SmackDown...

I mean...if I had my way bands like Mastodon, Faith No More or Babymetal
would be playing Wrestlemania and providing the theme songs...but...
I understand that doesn't appeal to the mainstream/general audience.

What would be interesting if they did a special "team up" music performance
to actually draw in more mainstream attention...like say Katy Perry & Slipknot
or Nicki Minaj & Ghost...lol
