Any wrestling fan who reads the internet knew heading into WrestleMania 32 that Brie Bella was likely wrestling her final match for WWE.
However, WWE did not acknowledge the fact, even while Brie was given a heroic send-off by her fellow womens wrestlers following the bout. Brie was also originally scheduled to give a farewell speech on Monday Night RAW, but those plans were scratched.
The official announcement of Brie's retirement is being saved for an upcoming season of Total Divas, which caused the change in plans. Apparently the retirement issue will be an on-going storyline in the next season of the show, with cameras following around Bella as she deals with her husband's retirement, as well as the future of her own career.
Meh. They saved it for that show. I don't get it though. Most on going wrestling fans, the male ones anyways, don't watch that show. She should have been aloud to do or say something. But no... WWE wants to turn it into a story line.
