I was going to make a poll but people may have opinoins about a guy i might not have posted.

Question is simple. What Indy mainstays do you feel is ready to step up and be a star in TNA or WWE and why.

I feel it is time Chris Hero steps up and moves on to the big two. He has grown as a both a wrestler and a performer in the past few years. Although its taking him longer to mold than his collegues like Punk, Joe, Danielson, Nigel; I feel, he is ready to step up to the plate and make big things happen. Good promo, improved look, better in the ring. IMO

I've seen this type of thread lots of times now, but it's always fun to speculate...

Chris Hero - obviously.

Jack Evans - He connects so well with the fans. Perfect for the X-Division, with a built in character. I don't know why he hasn't been signed yet.

Teddy Hart - I have to mention him every time, because he's great. He might have an attitude problem, but it looks like he's been behaved in Mexico. His last name is Hart, what's not to love? Give him another chance.

Claudio Castagnoli - Another big guy with a gimmick. I think he fits better with the WWE than TNA, he has that type of big gimmick.

Colt Cabana - please. WWE ruined what they had with him, he could've been really successful.

Human Tornado - another talented gimmick guy. The only problem is that he's really skinny.

Mark Jindrak - has TNA written all over him. Jacked out of his mind, pretty good in the ring, and a former WWE guy.

Briscoes - only because they've done EVERYTHING on the indy scene. really need to see what they could do on the big stage.

Kevin Steen - he has that charisma, that's great as an obnoxious, funny face. IDK if his size will be a problem though.

big 2? TNA is obviously a big step down from the WWE. Just look at Nigel. They had a huge send off for him and then he went to TNA. and it was like "oh crap, he's going to TNA. NBD."

WWE always look at TNA to throw out talent so they can sign them to a developmen deal. TNA is kind of a big deal. Not to ROH guys because their so close to each other iguess. But for real Indy wrestlers, TNA is good exposure

Chris Hero doesn't have the look. Everything about him says cheap, indy look, plus he wouldn't be able to do half his moves to guys in the WWE.

Of the indy guys, Claudio. You have to go foreign to get guys who would stand a good chance, Mistico (who the WWE tried their damndest to get in 07) Bison Smith, Albert and Tomko.

Giant Bernard has improved TREMENDOUSLY over the years since his initial release from the WWE. I believe if he was given a second chance to compete, he could even be an upper mid card mainstay in the WWE for the rest of his career. Even competing in the occassional WWE Title match. (Elimination Chambers, Championship Scrambles, Minor PPV Title Feuds, stuff like that).

So yeah, if I had to put my money behind one guy to make it back to the top, it would be Giant Bernard.

Obviously its Nigel, he is already being pushed into the TNA main event to be quite honest I see him being the one to take the TNA title away from AJ, which I would not mind one bit. He is one of the few ROH alumni that I have a bit of background on being that I do not follow "The Ring" but have seen quite a bit of his work on YouTube and the like. Interesting to see how the rest of his career pans out. To many former ROH and Indy super stars do not pan out in the big time promotions.
