It's discussed pretty often among American wrestling with Hogan, Austin and Rock as the locks with the 4th debateable but usually being Flair or Taker. Now let's transform that over to Japanese wrestling, who fits in your list.

Mine is :

Misawa - The greatest of all time IMO, no-one ever tops his performances.

Kobashi - Misawa's greatest rival, without Mitusara in the 80s and 90s he's the best of all time.

Stan Hansen - Debatable likely but never was there a better Gaijin, his work is stuff of legend and he deserves in here.

Giant Baba - A literally huge legend, lead booker of AJPW during it's boom in the 70s crossed over and won the NWA title too, a true goat who held over 30 titles in Japan in America.

I just chose random videos for each guy, there body of work is that good. So who's in yours?

In the mind of Antonio Inoki yes. But then again, his ego is the size of a planet.

Who for though? Do you drop Hansen who's possibly the biggest import ever and considered one of the best wrestlers of all time in Japense history? You can't drop Kenta or Misawa and Baba founded All Japan which was one of the biggest companies in the country at one point, plus he was a huge star. Inoki strikes me as the Taker of this list, it seems impossible to leave him off but I can't twist it to figure him in sadly.

There's more than 4, so it'd be rough to decide:

- Misawa
- Kobashi
- Giant Baba
- Shinja Hashimoto
- Tatsumi Fujinami
- Genichiro Tenryu
- Inoki
- Toshiaki Kawada
- Akira Taue

Really tough, but I feel Baba and Misawa are a lock.

Not sure if he should be guaranteed a spot but Jushin should definitely deserve a nomination.
