Who's more hardcore Funk or Foley???

i haven't seen much of terry funk but have seen in the reports and websites that he was the real hardcore legend..i have definately seen Foley live the hardcore dream and wrestle so many times..

but there is one point though,Funk has maintained the same intensity for a long period of time, while Foley was running around with a sock and selling his books..still i'll go with Foley for the simple reason that i haven't watched much of Terry Funk..

am sure other members will have different opinions on this one..comments people..Who is the real lord of the hardcores????

I'd give it to Foley

Funk is insane with the hardcore stylings, but Foley's body is the evidence of how much he gave to the hardcore wrestling

I'm going with Foley simply because Funk only did the hardcore stuff for the last decade of his career. He was actually a very respected techincal wrestler and a former NWA Heavyweight Champion.

I also do think that there are some guys that are a bit more "hardcore" than them", but they are still certainly near the top of the list for me.

IMO, the king of hardcore is Sabu. But between Foley and Funk I'm going to go with Foley. for the same reason as Vicky, i haven't watched much of Funks hardcore matches

well,good for you hitman that you'd seen funk's matches..maybe you can tell us about them.. i still will go with foley..in the current lot,ithought sabu was a good hardcore wrestler,but not even close to what foley did in his matches with the Mankind gimmick..

When you say the word hardcore, the first name that comes in to mind is Foley. His matches in the past are truly incredible and memorable if you are a hardcore fan. His Mankind gimmick made him do many unthinkable maneuvers and they were great to watch.

In my mind Foley is the greatest there is when it comes to Hardcore wrestling.

foley is hardcore,he's financially secure but will still take part in a hardcore match cause he loves it,but funk is a close second.

Mankind=Pretty Hardcore.
Dude Love=Not really that hardcore.
Mick Foley=Not so hardcore.

I encourage anyone who wants to see some early Cactus Jack, to watch some of his FMW stuff. Foley did some of his best stuff in that promotion and really, along with others, took hardcore wrestling to a new level.

I will go with Foley too. While I never saw any of Funks early stuff I did see him when he did the hardcore matches WITH Foley. when they did the dumpster matches and all during their feud with the New Age Outlaws. Not my favorite feud by far but I guess it was pretty hardcore.
So I say Foley....besides how Hardcore is it that Foley got Funk to return and do hardcore with him.

No doubt.....Funk, he has had almost the best matches ever that were in Hardcore Rules....he might not be the best technical wrestler, but he could sure as hell set himself on fire and do a moonsault off the top of a ladder

Definently Funk, after i saw him and Sabu's "Born to Be Wired" match. Those who saw that know exactly what i mean.
