The Hardy Boyz have both had their ups and downs in their wrestling careers, 2008 though has undoubtedly been the best so far for both brothers. But who's has been better?

Jeff had big momentum early on, but it was killed with his suspension. Since then, Jeff has been elevated to Main Event status on Smackdown, and looks to be on his way to the WWE Championship.

Matt on the other hand made a big return at Wrestlemania, before capturing the United States Championship from MVP. After dropping the belt to Shelton Benjamin at Night of Champions and getting drafted to ECW, becoming the shows biggest face and winning the ECW Championship at Unforgiven.

I'm voting for Jeff. Matt may have had two title runs, but his US one was uneventful and overall his performances this year have been far below Jeff's. Plus Jeff is now a bonafide Main Eventer while Matt is still a mid-carder.

withhout a shadow of a doubt its jeff hardy, jeff may be the worlds luckiest entertainer, not only does he get rehired after being fired once and going to the WWE's top competitor, but he screws up again and still is pushed to the clouds, he has shown he deserves it tho, and will be champion before summer 2009

Considering Jeff's always been the golden brother and his shit load of potential is known to all. He's been under performing and the company obviously has no faith whatsoever with the guy. They tell him this each time a heel or hell even triple H comes within inches of a mic with the topic of Jeff Hardy ringing in the arena.

Whereas Matt is the ugly not as much gifted brother. Who has now exceeded any career accomplishment he's had with becoming the ECW Champion.

Who's had the better year? Without a shadow of a doubt it's Matt Hardy.

Only reason Jeff Hardy has a job is because no one can forget about how loud they cheered for him when he was in his prime doing all those TLC matches. He's a shadow of his former self and it's obvious. Matt at least fights so hard where we don't remember how much he's gone so downhill.

If the WWE wasn't full of losers who can't wrestle and entertain a small audience of 12 Jeff Hardy would be unemployed

couldn't disagree with what you just said any more. Jeff is a good entertainer and a good worker, he is human, and has made mistakes, and at least was a big enough man to admit it and better himself, and i believe he won't ruin his chances anymore. Underachieved? Come on dude, Jeff is over with everyone, so maybe you should realize why he is, and why your opinion is wrong

All mean nothing. ECW=Shit. Tag Division=Shit. US Title=A little above shit.

Jeff has had shots at the big one and had great matches with it and good angles around it. Jeff for me.

even though Jeff Hardy main evented more then 3 ppv's this year he had not won any when it mattered for the gold whereas Matt even though it was for a US gold he did win it and defended it sucsessfuly numerous times which Jeff still has yet to do.

Matt also had a great return in the WM MITB match getting back at year long rival MVP, so my vote goes to Matt Hardy.

Jeff Hardy is having an amazing run at the moment. It's only a matter of time til he gets the title. Only if he doesn't go off the rails again.

Colin pretty much summed it up nicely I think. Except there wasn't nearly enough hatred for Jeff Hardy's untalented ass.

I'm going with Jeff simply because he had numerous World Title shots (even though he lost them all) and he's easily the most over of the two Hardys.

To be honest, Matt will always be on ECW, or a mid card on any other brand

Jeff, without a doubt. Was planned to win MITB, is in the SD main event scene, and character development.
Matt is on ECW and is kinda bland.

I think both have had a very good year through their accomplishemnts. Jeff has main evented both brands and Matt is the ECW champion. However, unlike his brother, Jeff has undergone development which has made his charachter even better, He has also improved more inhis technical and mike work. It's close, but still Jeff.

Jeff...personally I thought Matt was better as the US Champ than he is as the ECW Champ. He doesn't seem to be gaining any ground where he is and is well on his way to cementing his place as the world's greatest mid-carder.

I'm going with Jeff. He has being in the main event for awhile, He has had some good title matches. He has improved on the mic and in the ring not just being a spot monkey all the time. He has even developed and changed his character recently. Matt has had a good year too. But he is still the same boring character i find Matt pretty bland TBH. He may hold the ECW title but it's not really that great. I think Being in the mainevent and having Title shots on SD or Raw is better than holding the ECW title IMO. To me Matt will always be the one in the background compared to Jeff.
