Who would you want to see win the royal rumble?

Cena and the returning Bálor spring to mind right now. I'm going with the former.

Cena will go after Styles and I assume Bálor will feud with KO for the Universal title.

So the Rumble is dual branded right? and then whomever wins just faces whoever holds the main event title of their brand at WM now?

If that's the case my guess is exactly PB's.. Between the two brands I see Cena or Balor coming out the winner.. my wildcard and absolute wish would be Samoa Joe debuting and winning the Rumble.. He's no spring chicken, he's a very good In-ring worker, definitely has main event mic skills.. Personally I would use the Rumble win leading to a victory over KO at WM to properly debut a monster like Joe who has been in the business a long time and has PLENTY of main event experience.. his career doesn't have much longer left Imo and given his abilities as a worker and on the mic I think he's a perfect fit for the next person WWE calls up and immediately pushes.

If Balor comes back and they want to have a major pop from it and a surprise, then him. Other wise I can see the favorited Cena to win, he will be due for a run again.

I hope they don't give this one to cena. I respect him as a worker and he does deserve alot of recognition but he has had so many Achievements and opportunities that could be given to younger/new talent to build for the future.

I think Joe would be a good twist and make for some great rivalries. Either with Aj styles or KO. But you know that balor will get that huge push again when he returns

Quite early to call for a Royal Rumble winner but for all of you that fear John Cena, keep in mind that the next Smackdown exclusive PPV is Elimination Chamber, which means they could probably determine your number one contender right there and then, which then means that Cena can get his title shot via that route instead of the Rumble.

Like I said, early to predict a Rumble winner but based on the above, I'd probably be looking for a RAW guy...

Cena or Balor are the top two contenders right now. Which is one more than we've had in years! Brand split, creating more opportunities. Even though one is a 15-time world champion and the other won the world (Universal) title in his PPV debut and got hurt by turning in mid air and getting his arm caught on the barricade. :bayley:

He said the goal is to come back in time for WM 33, but if he's cleared before that and appears at the Rumble, even better.
