Who will carry Raw?

So with Cena being out until probably the end of the year, I was thinking about Raw's current situation. Cena was the top guy, and he was already carrying the Raw brand in every big, PPV Main Event feud. With him being out, it leaves a big void on Raw. There are only a couple of people that I could see that can try to replace him, and Raw could become weak.

I don't see CM Punk doing that job, because I don't think he's at the level where he can make everyone interested just yet. Even though he has the belt, I can't see him being in any major feuds until he drops it.

HBK or Jericho could be there to carry the brand, but I don't know what the WWE's waiting for. Their feud is probably going to last for a couple more PPV's, but I think they're going to go for another solid undercard feud once they end their rivalry.

Batista seems like a good pick, but he's another guy that needs a big name to be entertaining. He was Smackdown's top face for a long time, but he always had a good heel with him to feud with like Edge or the Undertaker. It might be me, but he just seems to be so boring when he's not in a feud with another big name.

Randy Orton is the one I'm hoping could be the "Savior" once he comes back. His run with the WWE Belt was great, and he isn't as boring as he once was a couple of years ago. There's still potential for lots of feuds, and having him back could help with Raw's somewhat weak Main Event scene.

So, who will carry Raw while "Superman" is out?

Nah, Cena was not the top guy. He is a big starm, but lately, he wasn't carrying Raw. He was in the mid card, and while yes, he still drew fans, fans will still come without him, and the feuds can still be good. He wasn't in anything big other than the mini Batista feud anyways.

So, I think it will stay the same as now. Not one guy caarrying, but everyone like JBL, Punk, Y2J, Kofi, Batista, Punk, etc pulling the load. And , don't forget, Cena is out, but Ortonw ill return, and be in there soon, and have the same amount of main eventers, but even better, because Orton will be able to come in as a heel, and be fresh again.

well when Orton returns... he might carry Raw, but as for now, it could be Y2J, HBK, Punk, Batista, and yes JBL to be honest... maybe even Santino and Kofi.. who knows

Raw will do just fine.. They are loaded at the ME spot with a lot of big names.

I'm not saying that losing Cena will hurt..which it will but not as bad as people may think.

As he said above^, RAW is going to do just fine without the "Superman" Cena wasn't carrying RAW lately and wasn't even getting the Main Event that often. It's a big loss for the WWE but not really something that they can't live without.

I see Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels having one big feud that goes on till WrestleMania, they should get the World Championship involved. The in-ring chemistry between both is amazing and they should continue with whatever they can; get the World Championship to add in better ratings as well.

I believe that Jericho/Michaels has been carrying Raw since it's inception.

but as for Main Event, I'd put my money on the WWE's old constant Batista title shots. I'd like to see Punk cling onto the belt though until Orton returns at least

until unforgiven Punk, Batista, JBL, Kane, Jericho and HBK will equally carry the brand. afterwards, im not sure but i think Batista will definately be there as he is already tremendously bulit as a fasce. To feud with Punk, Jericho or Orton are the best options and hopefully Jericho wins his feud with HBK to propel him into carrying the brand. Then you can have Punk, Batista, Orton and Jericho at the very top

At the end of the day Cena may be a money maker and puts arses in seats but no one man carries raw or any other brand. No superstar is bigger than the WWE and if Cena's career was over tomorrow wwe would still survive without him. Yes he is a top draw star but there is always someone that can fill the void whether its a older top rated star or a star in the making someone is always there to step up. And IMO raw has a stacked roster thats is filled with top flight stars that can step up and keep raw going.

It will probably be JBL because it seems WWE love him after all they brought him out of retirement for this stupid feud with CM Punk. Im not a big fan of JBL and hope this isn't the case and hope its someone like Batista or even Orton when he returns.

I think the HBK vs Chris Jericho feud is going to end at Unforgiven, so both of those guys can help out. Batista is boring as shit, but he can also help carry the brand. I think Randy Orton is close to returning, he is a very good heel and could reclaim that top heel spot on RAW. Lets not forget Rey Mysterio, who has done nothing lately and desperately needs a come back.
