He just told you, Killer Kowalski/QUOTE]greater

Kowalski is a household name and is a greater legend. In fact, he and Kiniski teamed together for about 6 months in the early to mid 60s. But as an in-ring performer, Kowalski did not rival Kiniski. He never held any World Title let alone the then official one that Kiniski held for 3 solid years. The NWA braintrust obviously deemed Kiniski the better choice.

Tbhonest, I haven't seen any of them wrestle aside from Putski in mid-80s WWF.

@ WCW4Ever: A couple 'o questions...

Do you always pick such obtuce topics?

Airfix, the word is "obscure", not "obtuse". The latter means "not sharp, lacking in probity, dull." You misuse of the word only shows your obtuseness.

And yes, another great Polish star, who should replace Ivan Putski on my list is Stanislaus Zybzco, who won the NY version of a world title in 1921 and an East Coast version in 1925. His prime was in an era when wrestling was real, truly dangerous and not wrestling as we know it today. Want a seventh?

Thank you for your questions.

Obtuce as in "Obtuce Angle": Put simply between 90 and 180deg; in this context refering to the lack of an 'angle'/view/general interest the majority of peeps will have on such a topic.

I won't profess to be some kind of linguistic genius and, admittedly, this may be a bastardisation that has come about over the years, but I've read it used in contexts far more 'credible' than a wrestling forum.

Still left doubting you actually know these guys for their work... I suspect you've merely read about them and don't really know them enough to have an informed opinion of them either.

Thanks.

So we have another nerd in the forums >_>

anyway, I only know about the first 3 names. And imo from those three, I would choose the Killer. He's a pioneer in this business.

I apologize, Airfix. And I do not do know numbers 3, 4 and 5 on my list from their work. Only from what I've read. And WS, if you think I'm a nerd, I could give you my real name, you could google it and get over 70,000 hits.
