Yeah, who in your opinions put the most over John Cena by jobbing to him, here are the choices:

Chris Jericho: lose to him at Summerslam and then in Raw at a Loser Gets Fired Match.

Triple H: Tapped to him at WM and then was the one to get covered at Backlash.

Shawn Michaels: Tapped to him at WM 23.

JBL: John Cena won his first title from him and made him say I Quit

Edge: His first long time feud related to the WWE title. John Cena ended Edge TLC undefeated record(altough he really wasn't undefeated)

Kurt Angle: Another long feud, in which Kurt Angle really never got the clear upperhand, it was job after job.

I said HHH. Cena was seemingly rolling over guys (Jericho/Angle) until he was matched up against HHH. Many people thought HHH was going to beat him, so i think Cena over coming the odds, made that match bigger and put Cena over more so. For whatever reason, i felt Angle/Jericho's time was running out in 2005, and they were going in a different direction. Although both were big fueds. I think you could even argue the big show had a role in the legend of Cena. Cena debuted at wm 20 to defeat big show for the US belt in the opening match. Very overlooked moment in my opinion, and almost resembles Hogan/Andre of this era.

I said Jericho. Cena toyed Jericho around, whether it was in a Loser Gets Fired Match on Raw, Triple Threat Match with Cage at Vengeance, or at SummerSlam, when Cena defeated Jericho. Their rivalry was a squash rivalry! LOL...

JBL no doubt. I mean the guy had the title for a whole year. Cena hadnt quite reached that pinnacle yet, and he did by beating a guy who had it for a year. So credibility wise, I would have to say JBL. All the other fueds like HBK, HHH, and Edge were I guess you could say ok, but to me, he was already put over b/c of what he did with JBL

I have to say Angle...he just jobbed PPV after PPV after PPV until he finally went to Smackdown and won their World Title in the batttle royal.

Kurt Angle, easily.

Remember John Cena's first match? The crowd got behind Cena because they wanted him to beat.... Kurt Angle.

Long before they feuded on RAW, Angle and Cena feuded on SD. Not only that, but it was against Angle (with Cena as a heel) that John really found himself in his promos and in the ring. To this day, I still say that his best single matches (with no stipulations) have been against Angle.

Were it not for his feud with Angle, Cena wouldn't have probably caught on, and he wouldn't have wrestled the HHH's and the JBL's of the world.

Or do people not want to admit this because Kurt is now in TNA? >_>
