Who is The Exalted One?

So this Wednesday (or is so advertised) we’re suppose to find out this Exalted One that’s been built for months. Who are you all thinking it could be? I’ll give my guess a little bit later.

Matt Hardy seems to be the favorite. Would be crazy if AEW had this all planned out before he was a free agent though.

I feel they are using him as a red herring. Making it all to obvious it’s him.


Brodie Lee possibly? Was originally going to be in his hometown when we find out? But even that I ain’t sure of.

Yeah it needs to be someone big and makes an impact right outta the Gate, or I would say the Dark Order is finished in my opinion. I'll take Brodie was the leader, but as leader of the group he needs to speak, and I haven't seen this guy cut a promo that makes you go oh man dude is legit. The look along for him does that, but I wonder if that's enough to get this group rolling.

Brodie Lee can just say the most generic shit and AEW fanboys would claim he's spitting ether level pipebombs..... he'd be a fine leader.....too bad it's the dark order and the entire gimmick is

So, it turns out he can talk, he could do with a bit more bass in his voice but he's still pretty decent.

That said, he doesn't strike me as legit a leader as Evil Uno, Uno just fits as the leader of that gimmick... and Matt Hardy would have undoubtedly made the whole thing awesome if it were him. But it isn't and I'm not sure whether Lee as the leader makes thr Dark Order feel less important than they were instead of elevating them to a proper main event heel unit.
