Dana White talks during the post fight 103 press conference about Vitor Belfort possibly fighting Anderson Silva for the 185lb title:

“The question that I had coming into this fight was, ‘What Vitor were we gonna see? The explosive Vitor that wants to get somebody hurt, who goes right after them, or the Vitor that lays back and couldn’t pull the trigger? He pulled the trigger tonight, and as soon as he hurt [Franklin], he went right in for the kill. Vitor is a 185-pound fighter, that’s his weight division. To be honest with you, the way that the last two fights happened with Marquardt and Henderson against Anderson Silva, I think it would be better to see them fight each other, and the winner of that become the next contender. I think Vitor’s ready. I think Vitor’s ready to fight Anderson Silva.â€￾

He is on a five fight win streak, but only one win in the UFC thus far. I agree with Dana, have Hendo and Marquardt duke it out while Vitor goes for Silva. That could be on hell of a standup war

^I totally agree.... Vitor has all the chops ready to take on Silva. He's fresh, he's coming off a very successful win, I think he's ready. Then again, my boy Anderson is still a monster and won his last 5 fights, notably over Griffin, Lietes and Henderson to name a few. His 3 of his 4 loses came to Japanese guys, and he lost only his first fight to Azeredo... throw Belfort in and you might even see an upset, but I do see this happening, possssibly at 106 if you WANT a more stacked card than it already is, and like you mentioned Mike.... it will be an all-out standup defense attack war

That will be a awsome fight. Vitor Belfort is a former Light Heavyweight Champion. He has beaten the best for example Randy "The Natural" Couture and Wanderlai Silva. He is ready to fight Anderson ''The Spider'' Silva. Plus I think Vitor will probably win.

Come on We alll know that Anderson Silva is the best middleweight champoin ever. But were talking about Vitor Belfort he has beaten the best like Randy Couture. His hands are like bombs when he hits somebody. It took Anderson about 3 rounds to beat Franklin and It took belfort about 2 minutes too knock the shit out of him.

Then again, Anderson Silva could take the best LHW, so size won't be an issue. Vitor's a pretty big guy, but that won't matter. Vitor is definitely the first guy in a long time that I can see beating Silva.

I know I said that about Forrest Griffin, but let's be honest, that was a joke.

Well, we all know that Anderson "The Spider" Silva defeated Forrest Griffin By Knockout at UFC 101 Declaration. But we also know that Vitor "The Phenom" Belfort defeated Rich Franklin at UFC 103. Plus Rich Franklin trains at the same camp as Anderson Silva. Dana said that Vitor Belfort belongs in the Middleweight class. Will we see a Vitor Belfort vs Anderson Silva fight or not.
